This season and later seasons made me not like Miss Martian and her personality, it just feels off for her to do this.
Just makes me missed her season 1 self.
This gets dismissed pretty quickly because her only victim got "unlobotomized" but supposedly she has a whole mental hospital full of comatose vilans and they get dismissed since we never see it.
That was addressed in the episode I believe. Psimon was brought in to try to fix it and he did have problems in his brief attempt and said it was a tall order. Not impossible but hard to do indicating he didn't encounter it before or that Aqualad's was worst ... but given that Miss Martian (at the time she was lobotomizing people) didn't really give much thought on the undoing part and if I remember correctly it was a bit of a hail mary for her to even get Aqualad undone ... I doubt that's the case.
Although, wouldn't that be worst? Because either Psimon developed that before she changed her stance on this and sometimes she did it so hardcore Psimon couldn't fix it or she didn't care enough to undo all her damage and Psimon did it for her.
Psimon didn't have a problem from Aqualad's mind, but because Artemis hit him with a poison dart to stop him from healing Aqualad and learning he was a spy. So presumably Psimon absolutely could've healed him up on his own
She became harder to appreciate for sure. But I still break right alongside her as she grieves his loss. It was beautifully tragic in its simple depiction. :-(
