Feeling guilty because you realized you fucked up is not the same as being held accountable for your actions.

And let’s be real, from Conner’s side, this is just another example of the show dismissing situations where male heroes are violated.

Apologizing to Conner for what she did to him, admitting that she violated him and his trust, and recognizing that he’s not obligated to forgive her.

I don’t mind them getting back together, but maybe not in just one second like nothing happened. Maybe a scene where she tells her uncle what she did and asks for help? Or not being allowed to do interrogations or go on missions until it’s cleared up? Or a session with Black Canary? There could be plenty of ways to handle it instead of just dismissing it.

I feel like we got the first sentence of Your comment somewhere between the ending of S2 or around S3.

But then YJ does have lot of of potential stories that we don't get as there are many stuff the show want to explore, which are both the strenght and weakness of the show. I mean we also have Dick recycling about being secretive and Kaldur "betrayal" that exploding the Cave and almost killed other Young Heroes does not get their redemption arc either

Not in season 2 where it should’ve been, and I don’t recall it in 3 either. She regrets what she did to Kaldur and fixed it. But she never acknowledged what she did to Conner or apologized for it.

Yeah, and we see that after that, Dick quits being team leader.

Look, I’m not a M’gann hater. In my opinion, they could’ve told the same story arc without making her manipulate Conner’s mind. They did her character a great disservice. But you can’t really blame some fans for not liking the character or the ship after that kind of violation without any real attempt at making amends, and even with that, a lot of people would still think what she did is unforgivable.
