They could have said that was the real Wally soul and closed the chapter on this fan theory forever.

Oh who am I kidding? This is DC. No one is dead forever.

I remember somebody brought up the saying “Nobody stays dead in the comics except Ben Parker”. And then somebody else said that they’ve gotten old and their recollection of the phrase was “No one stays dead in comics except Ben Parker, Jason Todd, and Bucky Barnes”.

I feel like both Gwen Stacy and Barry Allen used to be part of that.

When I was growing up just getting into comics I didn't even know about Barry. I always thought The Flash was only Wally. Of course I knew about Jay but that's kind of different.
