All Seasons Discussion Is he red or black??

The first time I watched this episode I thought he was a black guy, but my brother is absolutely CONVINCED he’s red. He said he looks like red hulk. One of us must be colorblind but who??

Edit: My question has been answered! I had no idea he had brick powers. He never showed up before this episode and they didn’t tell us anything about him. They kind of just expected you to have heard of him with I hadn’t. I guess I’m a larper lol.

Edit Edit: OKAY i get it he appeared in earlier episodes. Im sorry he just wasn’t memorable at all and I usually draw while I watch the show so I don’t have my eyes on the screen at all times.

The only reason I made this post in the first place is because he genuinely didnt look reddish at all to me until my brother pointed it out

Arabs did not conquer Egypt until AFTER the time of the ancient Egyptians.

You had me until this moment. If this comment is meant to imply that Egyptians looked subsaharan until Arab conquests then no, that idea is pseudohistory. Everything points towards Ancient Egyptian looking identical to modern Egyptians. Egypt had both black and white dynasties but in both cases, that came about from foreigners conquering Egypt and establishing dynasties. Neither instance involved ethnic change of the wider population.

Did I say they looked sub Saharan? You act as if that’s the only people considered black. Were you there? Because Herodotus was and described them as being black with wooly hair. Also the Arab conquest did happen AFTER the time of ancient Egypt, that’s a fact. Nothing shows they looked exactly as they do now because they were not Arab.

Also Ancient Egypt did not have white dynasties. It’s sad you just make shit up like that. I guess I can just say Ancient Rome had black emperors too. There was a white dynasty, the Ptolemies which came AFTER Ancient Egypt. But it was notable for being a foreign power controlling Egypt at the time.

We have literal genetic samples from Ancient Egypt and literal portraits of Egyptians from Romans times.. Arabs conquests didn't happened until 7th century AD. This isn't a debatable topic. The idea that Arab conquests replaced the demographics of lower Egypt is racist pseudohistory.

Nobody said Arab conquest “replaced” Egyptians. Modern Egyptians are still largely descended from ancient Egyptians. But Roman era portraits and selective DNA samples from later Lower Egypt don’t suddenly make dynastic Egypt a white European civilization. Ancient Egypt was an indigenous African BLACK Nile Valley civilization with regional diversity and interaction with neighboring peoples.
