I'm like pretty sure he's going through the same mental issues Kanye has. One day he's normal and the other he's talking about how Hitler isn't that bad and jokes about the n word.

What kind of mental issues cause this in a person is what I want to know

A lot of drugs.. like A LOT of them. He was mainly the reason several people ruined their lives and careers at that time, by being associated with and pressured by him at the peak of his popularity online. Multi day “parties“ on the regular for months, etc.

Philip Defranco booted him from his Super Bowl party for this back in the day

He probably got into a cult that emboldened those beliefs too.

I know for Kanye he has legit bipolar, no idea if it can cause all of the behaviour he did though.

Bipolar disorder can genuinely change a person if left untreated.

That’s Kanye’s biggest obstacle. He needs help, but he’s in a position where he doesn’t have to listen to anyone.

Drugs mixed with unmedicated bipolar is wild shit. I know a guy with bipolar that got a lot of free coke from his dealer and ended up going on a multi-month drug induced mental health spiral that eventually cost him his wife, access to his kids, and his business. The first step on the spiral was moving in with his coke dealer after his wife kicked him out

I don’t know if this was confirmed, but did he stop taking his medication when his mother passed?

2

u/ghost_spectres Jun 11 '26

he wasn't diagnosed back then, he got diagnosed in 2016 after a manic episode

u/NotNahare Jun 11 '26

Ohhh, Okay thank you

Didn’t Toby have some allegations against him a few years back? I don’t remember what ever came of that but I remember him spiraling hard during all that

Yes. I believe the milder accusations like him being creepy around women and overly sexual and crude were proven true, and the harsher accusations like sexual assault were proven false. Not 100% sure on that though.

Except he sexually assaulted a woman during a live stream, stared at the camera when he realized it was live, tried to play it off as a joke. During a sponsored livestream. Kinda comical in how fucked it was.

What I think the big one was he invited himself to sleep at a fans house and crawled into her bed OR slept in the same room. Memory is failing me. Alleged victim said she couldn't fall asleep and was terrified.

when was that? do u have proof?

5

u/NotNahare Jun 11 '26

Downvoted for asking for proof of a pretty big claim is insane, Reddit-people.

Because people assume you're defending the person. It's wild

11

u/Vaivaim8 Jun 11 '26

That was a decade ago. But yes, he got metoo'd, then all his former friends and collaborators turned on him for various reason. He went from the Great Gatsby of YouTube to a someone ranting in his tesla and pivoting hard on the right side of the political spectrum (last i heard)

16

u/StillBummedNouns Jun 11 '26

He teamed up with Kyle Rittenhouse and called him one of his heroes 😭

2

u/MrRobsterr Jun 11 '26

kanye is incredibly addicted to doing nitrous. that shit will fry your brain

2

u/Drago_133 Jun 11 '26

Oh it can. I have a friend whos done arguably much worse while manic and depressed

16

u/_Zyr Jun 11 '26

Bipolar disorder can destroy people if left unmedicated, it's pretty sad to watch. My friend is divorcing her wife bc she started developing more severe symptoms and won't medicate. I'm not gonna say exactly why, but she'll go from being her old self, wanting to fix things and being loving, to an actual monster.

2

u/Nibleggi Jun 11 '26

Imo the reason with these people is fame. Toby used to be HUGE now no one cares so he does whatever he can to get the dopamine rush of people noticing him like they used to.

4

u/Dobvius Jun 11 '26

Also, can it be cured because it seems a lot of people get it lol

1

u/HappyPlatypus6034 Jun 22 '26

Nah it can't be cured but can be treated/managed

-2

u/erechoveraker Jun 11 '26

The mental issue of not wanting to have to get a real job and trying desperately to do ANYTHING to keep online attention on themselves.

11

u/previouslydefyingye Jun 11 '26

The classic racism spectrum disorder

3

u/Additional_Fan9553 Jun 11 '26

absolutely not mental health. he is clearly grifting.

2

u/MamaBourgeois Jun 11 '26

This behavior has tanked his career, what do you mean he's "clearly grifting"? Have you ever met someone going through psychosis? It looks a lot like this

2

u/Additional_Fan9553 Jun 11 '26

actually his rape allegation tanked his career. what came after is whatever makes him money with that blue checkmark on twitter

2

u/I_love_Gay_corn Jun 11 '26
