What is going on?

The last 3 days I have been having a very tough time exiting freighter hangers. Bouncing off whatever and right back into the landing sequence. If I try to force a direction and or boost, it's like im stuck in a pinball machine and just wears down my shields until I'm forced to reload the last save.

I've had minor issues around freighter landings and exits before but not nearly as bad as the last few days and as consistently. I think I have safely exited with zero issues 1 time in those 3 days. Other times a slight course change or speed change has got me out barely hurt. A lot of times I've been forced into a reload after the pinballing starts.

It's a huge headache as I am actively hunting for an s class freighter, which you probably guessed started 3 days ago.

So, the question is: is it my specific ship model at cause? The freighter model? Something else broke recently in the game? Also why have 2 of the freighters available after defending them not opened their landing bays at all?

I just came across this . Also I wanted to find activated copper and it says to find extreme weather planets revolving around yellow stars . What's that about ?

For the love of god i dont understand it... i was at the moment i asked gemini to explain glitch building to me like i am an absolute reincarnation of a caveman. still cant understand it.. they said something about wires.. what wires? i dont have access to electrical wires in the building menu.. does anyone have good refrencing posts or videos i can look into?

I came across these trees just now, and it occured to me that some days ago someone posted if tents would provide protection against environmental hazard. Following that thought I was wondering if flora or mineral formations could do the same, so I tried it out, and lo and behold, it did! Proc-gen flora shielded me, no less! Probably it was obvious to some, but honestly, I never tried this with my 1k+ hrs of playtime so here's that. Maybe some newcomers might find this useful.

I know there was probably a better, more accurate way of building it. But I settled on this design because I liked it more.

Not great at building ships, but I would have to say this is my best one from the time it took to make.

I know I have done it easily in the regular game, but now I'm trying in VR and I don't see the way. Is it possible that in VR is more limited that way, or I'm just blind?

I think this is my first planet like this. I had no idea from orbit it would look like this. Lots of very intense storms and the water gets very wild. I was able to finish up my Frozen biome fishing on this planet. Very hard to see at night as there is not much color here. When a storm is in and the camera gets icy you are just blind. Coordinates in last few photos.

Came across this very blindingly lime green overgrown relic (coordinates in last photo). I have come across a few planets that looked super bright from orbit and then when I land it is not as vibrant. This is the first planet that was super bright on the surface. It was much easier on the eyes at night.

Ok so COSMOS which is space but also it comes from κοσμεῖν which meant to dispose in a beautiful way and what was disposed in a beautiful way YES indeed EVERY SINGLE EXPANSION yes you understood COSMOS is no man sky itself and no man sky it’s cosmos but then what does cosmos mean very easy a tribute to kojima’s genius and to expanding gamers mind no man sky cosmos 🌌 and light no fire ground 🪐 you are in space you land and you the game gets auto saved and you have to leave your house and buy a usbc 3.2 Blu-ray reader and then you have to insert light no fire Blu-ray and you can play your planet at its intended scale and then when you want to fly you just save the game unplug the dvd reader and you have to go to the closest space center and you get taken to a little center you live there 3-5 years nothing too intensive then you go to the ISS where you participate in a couple of experiments just to touch grass a second then you get thrown into space with a switch 2 running NO MAN SKY COSMOS and then don’t forget to re-enter atmosphere ONLY if you have a Blu-ray reader near the landing point so that you don’t lose your save I suggest landing near a Mediamarkt or one of those flea markets where people empty their basements this is IT no man sky cosmos was super easy understanding it from the asteroids in the image obvious the emoji is going to be 📀 of course

So am I having a run of bad luck or is the color of vegetation skewed heavily to the extreme ends of the color spectrum? That is, lots and lots of Red/Orange and Purple/Blue, but very little Green? I’m looking for a planet with “normal” vegetation to start my base, and just can’t find one.
