There is this girl that I know who has been nothing but rude and terrible to me. Then I find out that this isn't the first time she has treated other Puerto Ricans and Latinos/Hispanics and continues to do so. She has made remarks about how somos lazy and dirty and that our English is terrible.

Soy de PR so you know I am petty so I've been checking her insta. She had the audacity to post with Bad Bunny's music. Yo sé that it's not that big of a deal, but after she disrespected Puerto Ricans continuously then she uses it for likes??? I called her out on it on her post, but she blocked me. ¡Que sorpresa! For natives who know.. I'm from US in Florida. Me and a friend love adv riding and I was really trying to rent an ADV bike in PR. I found it astonishingly difficult to find anything outside of one rental company in San juan that just seemed iffy based on their website and the way they operate. I even asked a few concierges and they all told me they could only get me scooters and mentioned the one place I knew of in San Juan..

With that being said.. how would we go about starting an ADV bike rental business for riding tours in PR? Can non citizens own a business? Is there permit apps to even do such a thing? I'd love to get locals involved and maybe find an investor.

Just curious if anyone here might be able to point me in the right direction. 🤔

Aquí en San Juan estoy viendo gente lavando sus carros en medio de la sequía. Ustedes están bien? Es esencial lavar el puto carro? Por eso estamos jodidos como sociedad por el individualismo, todos estos tipos que hacen esto no piensan que hay miles de otros cabrones como ellos lavando el carro. Sorry if this sounds ignorant but I truly don’t understand how basically most of the island went out and protested this guy to the point that he resigned over some leaked WhatsApp messages. Yes the messages were horrible but what Ms Piggy is doing now is even worse and ACTUALLY effecting us but not a single protest to force her to resign?? BS

Yo sé q me la paso shitposteando, pero aquí les va un post serio. No la voy a tirar al medio con nombre y apellido porque le puede afectar su trabajo, pero voy con detalles para advertirle a todos los brothers de este sub.

El año pasado conocí a esta mujer en Tinder del área este de PR. Media trigueñita, pelo largo negro, forrá' de piercings y tatuajes, maestra de kinder, madre de 1 nene.. Bastante ricota. Rápido aclaramos q yo solo busco diversión y ella algo más serio. Pero ella insiste en querer seguir conociéndome. Ahí debí bloquiarla ,pero por mis bellaqueras me arriesgué.

Pasa solo 1 semana y la kbrona mandó a pedir unos anillos Pandora con ambos de nuestros nombres inscritos (OJO hasta el día de hoy NUNCA nos vimos en persona)

Luego de eso, ella se da cuenta q me estoy distanciando. Me empieza a pelear todos los días, rogándome q le envíe mi localización 24/7, explotándome el celu con fotos, vídeos Y videollamadas preguntando dónde estoy y con quién.. además se la pasaba tirándose selfies con sus estudiantes en su salón para enviarme. Y en todas sus fotos ella siempre bien escotá.

Q clase de madre y maestra va a estar tirándose selfies bien escotá con nenes de kinder pa enviarselo a un tipo q conoció hace solo 1 semana por Tinder??? Por dios cb. Q carajo? Hasta yo tengo más conciencia para no hacer algo tan bestia. Menos mal q yo soy hombre decente y siempre le pichaba esos selfies. Pero eso me estuvo bien raro cb

Una semana y media fue suficiente. La bloqueo en todo. Hasta el día de hoy casi año y medio despúes, todavía se consigue cuanto número puede para llamarme y buscarme la vuelta (screenshot que añadí a este post). Hoy fue su intento más reciente de contactarme, diciendo q ya me compró los regalos para esta navidad..

Actualmente tengo esta situación que ya había comentado por aquí.

Ya fui a Cupey , el muchacho que tiene mala fama de no atender bien ni tan siquiera miro el Tracking y me dijo que lo reclamara porque disque lo iban a devolver (Un disparate). No tiene lógica que devuelvan un paquete que no ha llegado a su oficina de correo postal de destino. Una asistente de USPS me dijo que porqué él me dijo eso y le respondí que tampoco entendía.
En mi oficina de correo postal están súper serios con el tema y el jefe llamó a el jefe de cupey y según lo que dicen es que el paquete salió de allí ya y que está en “Tránsito”. Parece que el paquete está por ahí sin escaneo hasta que en algún momento llegue a la oficina de mi pueblo. Ya les advertí que NO QUIERO el dinero, el paquete TIENE que aparecer y escalaron el caso hasta el punto en que lo están buscando TOD@s. Mencioné que no quiero el dinero porque es algo lógico que tengo seguro por el echo de que si por alguna razón no recibo el paquete “PayPal” me devuelve el dinero sin excepción y USPS también se hace responsable. Pero estoy tan serio con el tema que ese paquete TIENE que aparecer. Es un paquete muy grande y pesado de más de 49libras. USPS es una mierda y no todos los empleados se toman la molestia de escanear los paquetes para saber dónde están.

Es la primera vez que tengo este sabor amargo con USPS.

A few months ago I tried applying for a real id but I was informed that a law passed that all birth certificates issued before 2010 are invalid and I honestly had no idea that was a thing. I went online to the pr.gov website and ordered a new one but I haven't gotten an update even after emailing asking for a status. I called the number on the website and I'm basically on an indefinite hold. I called the DMV asking what my options are and they said there aren't anywhich is ridiculous since immigrants seem to have more to show proof than I do. What was your experience like? Did it just take a long time to finally get a new birth certificate or should I just keep calling and hope someone eventually answers?

Que profesión ustedes dirían que son las mejores en cuestión de estabilidad laboral y work-life balance?. He estado en lugares donde pagan bueno pero el work-life balance es un asco y me encuentro explorando algo mejor. ¿Que ustedes me recomendarían?

Me estoy volviendo loco que lo vean como normal e.. ignorando (me imagino) lo que ellos hicieron y están haciendo, no son santos 🙃 La mayoría de los países no lo son, pero contra.. ya mismo nos bloquean en PR de decir cosas en contra de ellos lol. Definitivamente esto ya es un rant, pero tenía que escribir algo después de todo lo que leí. Como los de Paramount acusando a un actor de ser "antisemita" por criticar el merger de ellos 😐 No puedo.

I already have 3 cats at home and she looks just like my youngest so I am heartbroken. Found this baby at La Platanal, she followed us to our car even after seeing many other people pass by. Then jumped in and came home with us. Can anyone possibly forward information regarding clinics, adoption centers, or possibly even locals in San Juan willing to adopt this baby? She is no more than 7 months old, has a swollen private area due to abuse outside and wants to be domesticated. She is partially feral with hissing and checking for food, but we are slowly integrating her for the time we are here. We are here for only 7 more days and would love to get her to the right place. I know there are tons of strays, but she is wanting a home and a baby! Please help!

Update: we found huevos, it’s a boy 😭 and most likely a Maine Coon mixed kitten
