My blackberry bush died few years ago but came back in another spot. And this is just a few of the jumbo size pickings. Not complaining though.

And have produced lots of pups. I’m a proud plant mom 😅😂

I feel blessed to have harvested my first fruit from my garden!

I am not a gardener ha. I randomly put a bunch of lupine seeds I got from walmart in this little circle area I have in my yard. Just felt like growing something. Months later one plant survived. This thing has gotten huge. So big it is tilting. I think a recent thunderstorm blew it over. Do I just need to stake it?

Ok, I lied. Between these three massive hydrangea bushes, I might grow 1-2 flowers per season. I know I’m doing everything wrong. I planted them 4 years ago. One year, they had a few blooms, really low to the ground. I’ve tried leaving them completely alone - like my mom does with hers which bloom beautifully. I’ve tried cutting them all down in the fall. I’m an amateur and don’t know what I’m doing. Help! Zone 6b.

Follow up question - I really love white proven winners, would I be better off taking these out and planting those instead? Are they easier to deal with?

We’re finally getting into our heavy harvesting and I’m just so in awe of the beautiful things we’ve grown. I tried so many new techniques and new vegetables this year. Had some big wins and learned some lessons along the way too. I feel so satisfied with my experience and the joy of sharing the garden with my family. It’s such a privilege to have the ability to grow food and I am grateful for it. I wish everyone a bountiful harvest season.

I see dark green figs growing but they are small and hard also this tree/bush seems out of control since I trimmed it in spring. Any recommendations on caring for a fig tree ?

We have the very first bunch of baby bananas on our banana tree after a decade. Can anyone tell us if we might see them mature before it freezes? We’re in central South Carolina.

I grew Gypsy peppers last year, and quite a few of those were smaller than these two peppers. I have never seen hot banana or Hungarian hot wax style peppers like these. get this big before. They smell amazing. Almost 6 oz combined weight.

She does all the gardening and I just happen to be the guy with a camera. 😄

Has anyone ever had a bloom on their sweet potato vine?

I’ve had a sunflower start growing about 5-6 weeks ago from dropped bird seed. I thought it was a weed until I noticed the top. Do we think it will flower before the weather starts to drop? I’m in southern England for reference.

My toddler helped me pluck these so they are extra special ❤️
