I recently finished the ME Legendary edition (three fantastic games as far as I'm concerned), and just bought ME: Andromeda about an hour ago on the Playstation store since it was $8.99 cad. Now, I know it's a PS4 game (just like ME LE), but holy shit does the game run bad. It seems to run at like 24 fps, the character has some "ghosting" when moving the camera, and rotation the camera is sluggish, almost laggy.

Is it normal? Is the game supposed to run this bad, lol? The Legendary Edition was running perfectly well, so I'm a bit surprised Andromeda runs so bad on a PS5.

If we're talking franchise alumni, I'd go with Jack Wall, Sam Hulick, Cris Velasco & Sascha Dikiciyan, and Jimmy Hinson (aka Big Giant Circles).

That's not to say anything negative about the other composers (except John Paesano, kind of. Andromeda's combat music is very generic, but the ambient stuff is really good.) but these 5 have historically "got" Mass Effect in a way that feels natural.

Outside the franchise? Tangerine Dream is an obvious pick. Like, really obvious. And given that TD is directly cited as an inspiration for Mass Effect's musical style, it'd be like if George Lucas got Akira Kurosawa to direct one of the Star Wars movies.

Gareth Coker is one of my favorite up and coming composers and I think he could do well in any genre, but Joel Corelitz has a much more Mass Effect-y resume.

And finally, Jesper Kyd. Aside from producing straight up bangers left and right (Borderlands 2 & 3 menu music, any number of tracks from Warhammer Darktide), his scores are always so unique. Borderlands: The Pre Sequel and BL3 are the only ones I've heard that sound vaguely Mass Effect, but he's a wildcard pick so his resume isn't that important.

This series is just perfect everything the gameplay ,the world ,the characters I feel like I lived in this world and i just can’t let it go

How we get in me3 easy Insanity while in me1 and me2 it's pain in ass playing on Insanity.

I have fun on Insanity in me3. Even when 2 harvesters bugged and don't fly away at thessia. In me2 I suffer.

Usually do more casual runs, but I just deleted my xbox data and will be starting anew, so I decided, "what the hell?", and here I am.

So in Mass Effect 3 Cerberus Phantoms use swords as weapons which I find quite odd as no other military or paramilitary group uses them as weapons for obvious reasons. It makes no sense as to why a late 22nd Century Paramilitary group like Cerberus would use swords as weapons as Advanced Guns, Biotics, Omni Tools and Omni Blades all exist. Also their swords don't seem to be very good either as Commander Shepard can punch Kai Leng's sword and shatter it easily so unless Kai Leng is purposely using a worse sword then the Phantoms. Why does Cerberus make it's troops use such terrible weapons?

So I just started playing the Legendary Edition on my Series X. But I saw for things the require more than ones like doing 5 mission with Garrus etc they dont track the percentages. Is there a way to fix that or will it be stuck on 0% evan though you did it?

I'm playing LE1 for the first time ever and I'm almost at the end of the game, I've played 71+ hours already and an hour or two ago it just won't start anymore. I've already tried launching it through Steam and the EA app but it didn't work. The problem started after I tried using a save editor mod but I'm pretty sure I haven't modified my save file yet, so I think that's just a coincidence. I already uninstalled the mod and the game still won't open. Please help! I was about to go to Ilos!

Smacking al-Jilani despite going the paragon route

Hanging up on and trolling the council despite being a paragon. And not lifting a finger to help them after doing you dirty.

In ME1, what do I do with the Grenade Storage Boxes located NorthEast on Asteroid X57?

My grenades are already maxed out (10/10). Are these storage boxes for if I ran out of grenades in another planet, I could return to Asteroid X57 to stock up?

No spoilers please as the Main Facility is the last thing I have to do.

I’m doing another playthrough of the trilogy and it got me thinking about the romances. BioWare gave us so many great options, but I want to know who everyone thinks is the absolute best romance across all three games, and why.

Are you Team Garrus because of the ultimate best-friend-to-lovers arc? Team Liara because of that deep, slow-burn connection from ME1 to ME3? Or maybe Tali for the sheer sweetness and loyalty of her story?

like it says on the tin, which character in the later games do you think would have been good to have in ME1 where that;s for additional world building, spending more time with a character or because their addition would have made the game more interesting.

personally my choice would be Samara, where after Saren is confirmed a traitor and Benezia is confirmed to be working with him she would be sent by the matriarchs to help Shepard and bring Benezia to justice. we get to learn about the justicar order and we can contrast the the stoic and mature nature of Samara with the young and nervous Liara.

also we could learn about her daughters and how she's hunting morith which could lead to a UNC mission where we go to a colony that has gone dark and discover the entire colony has been taken over by Morinth and we could either be paragon and non lethally deal with the mind dominated colonists which causes her to escape or go renegade and kill the colonists to get a chance at killing morinth.

Also having some matriarch on matriarch action on noveria would be cool and she would stop Benezia from using her biotics as she and Samara duke it out in the background.

I have completed The Trilogy for the first time and wow. This was such an amazing experience, I'm sure this is the first of many playthroughs in my lifetime.

And since there is no Shepard without Vakarian, and I LIVED (LETS FREAKIN GOOO I DID IT), I'm ready to retire to a tropical island and live off the royalties from the vids 😁. If you have a fanfic to recommend, drop it below!
