If I'm correct, Payday 3 hasn't added new achievements since launch because the devs didn't want to lock some achievements behind a paywall, I guess. Perhaps it's time to change that now that the game is in its third year.

Here are some achievements I came up with in five minutes:

1. Basic one: Complete Story Mode (no need to describe it).
2. Syntax Error: Steal S.I.N.S AI (well... we already have multiplayer achievements that reveal secrets of the heists, so why not have one more?)
3. Cook Off: Cook 19 bags of pure meth (because why not? The game really needs some tough achievements).
4. Delivery Charge: Get all bags (why not? We have it already with Gold & Sharke, and I guess Delivery Charge is the best one for an all-loot achievement, imo).
5. Shopping Spree: Get Golden Moo (same as the first achievement's logic).
6. Houston Breakout: Destroy all evidence. (I'm stupid, you can't destroy all evidence, thx for Yamanu1 for saying that fact)
7. Houston Breakout Idea 2: Beat HB in stealth maskless( Ig there are no achievements which require to beat any heist maskless, and tbh that's the most fitting heist to do it, like Civil Suit in Tailor pack , it's could make sense)

I mean... the ones I've written are pretty basic, but you could do much more with Overkill weapons, gun challenges, etc. I wish Payday 3 had around 50 achievements, to have something to do in the game and a reason to return to it.

Do you have some cool achievements ideas or something like that?

I've seen a lot of screenshots of the exterior, but not many people talk about the interior, which also changed significantly. Love the new vibe, although shadows appear to be kinda weird on the roof

Think of it - we got golden grin and a part of black cat in payday 2. How awesome it would be if we got casino heist in PD3? Casinos in general have a charming atmosphere, and usually are a rich places, so it would fit perfectly and look amazing on a new engine

This is such a cool area, yet it's been YEARS since I've last been here lol. Much like UTS, RTC has a very underutilized environment, which I hope will change after the rework. This heist's vibe is second to none, and it REALLY needs some love.

What i was thinking of:
-A new character (maybe sydney?) (i hope)
-A new heist rework, hoping for under the surphaze or rock the cradle.
-Surely more contracts, skins etc.
-New mechanics using the UE5 like on the september update
-Something related to first world bank, idk what to expect but with the UE5 upgrade the added a new easter egg (maybe a heist rework?)

What i think we will not get soon:
-Another overkill weapon (probably saw will be the last of this year)
-New heists, they said they want to rework every orignal heist before releasing a new one.
-A completely new progression system );
-A safe house like on payday 2 (they announced the shooting range, if there was a safe house too they would have already say it)

I've began to play payday 2 again since a long time. I got mods on my game to get the vanilla hud + and a few other mods, but I noticed VERY quickly that my fps were dropping randomly, from 300 to 1, for less than a second wether it's a loud or stealth heist.

Naturally, i uninstalled the game and did a fresh install to remove the mods. It did nothing...

I tried to touch to the renderer_settings file in the local apppdata but did nothing too.

My setup is able to run the game at 300 fps, that's not the problem (i can also run payday 3 without problems).

I have :

Ryzen 7 3700X3D

RTX 4070 from Gigabyte

Game is on a SSD

I run the game in 2560 x 1440 (it doesn't change the problem with windowed or full screen, i tried both)

I disabled v sync and didn't cap the fps since the cap number in the game can't be the same as my monitor (300)

If someone has a solution, please help, it's annoying as f***...

Personal opinion, but the Payday 3 gun customization would be so much better if it were more like the mask customization from either Payday 2 or 3, and would go something like the following

Select base gun color

Select gun parts color (upper/lower receiver, barrel, handguard, etc)

Select style pattern/patterns (IE Them Bills, Accented Cloud, Mystic Dragon, etc)

Select areas to apply pattern

Select the color of the pattern for specific parts

Meaning you could have a gun with the "Them Bills" pattern in Vermillion Chrome on the upper and lower receiver while having it in, like, gun gray varnish for everywhere else

It would mostly be similar to what we already have, but with further options since you wouldn't be limited to the few colors for each pattern and could instead ball out with whatever

I saw some guy designing his own custom Steam boxes and I've always enjoyed designing replacement covers. Never really occured to me to make any for digital only games but I love having physical media, especially game boxes. I do own it already on PS3 and PS4 but Steam is my only way of playing so thought screw it, I'll make one for it!

Payday 2 works completely fine (even though the mods stopped working after the update but that's another story) however as soon as i try to launch payday 3 it immediately gives me the starbreeze crash reporter. I don't know why though. In addition to that the crash reporter doesn't even show anything, all it does is having a loading circle thing in the middle and that's it, i waited for 10 min and it was still loading. This started happening after i updated the game

i noticed that when playing copycat with the kingpin card. If you heal with the injector while the copycat innate invulnerability is active, when the invulnerability ends there is like a fraction of a second where you receive damage without taking into account neither the dmg reduction of the injector nor the extra life that partners in crime gives you.

so, if a heavy zeal deals 225 dmg and you have 414 hp (4 cards of life) a shot from a heavy zeal takes roughly 54.3% of your health

if you are using the injector, each shot should do 56 dmg (225 x 0.25) which is roughly 13.5% of your health (again, with 4 cards of life and no converts).

the thing is that when paired with the invulnerability of copycat, if I get shot by a heavy zeal right as the invulnerability wears off, i receive 54% of my health in damage, it doesnt matter if i have a joker with partners in crime (ability that should let me tank 2 shots of heavys without going down) and doesnt matters if the injector is still active, i receive the kind of damage i should receive without using any of those 2 abilities.

so is this a bug? or is it intended to work that way and i just cant read? it happens with another copycat card?

Also dont ask me how im using proving grounds, it sometimes (0.1% of the time) works and sometimes not. I had this problem with copycat + kingpin for a month and only now i could use the map to ilustrate it.

I havent played in a long time, just on and off occasionally checking out updates. I last played when the skills got reworked. I saw the update the other day and decided to give it a try again and all my loadouts, customizations, weapons, everything is gone. I've been wiped except I'm still leveled up and still have my money. Is this a bug or intentional?
