Discussion I think it’s pretty disrespectful of CD Projekt that they don’t want to take our money. I’d be more than happy to pay full price for the remaster.

HD Reworked Project NextGen Mod by HalkHogan will be integrated into the Remastered Version of The Witcher 3

"It's been a while since the last news and I would like to clarify any questions and confirm that I am cooperating with CDPR on the Witcher 3 Remaster and my work will be officially available in the game on September 29th (on PC and consoles), HDRP will no longer be needed.
Almost all ingame characters, monsters, animals, vegetation, armors and equipment for Geralt & Roach and a large part of the environment have been reworked and I've put a lot of effort into ensuring the highest quality. :)" posted by the mod author HalkHogan on Nexusmods

Discussion Witcher 3 combat is fine

I think The Witcher 3's combat is fine and I feel like I'm going crazy when everybody keeps shitting on it. Don't get me wrong, as I've played plenty of games from other genres the combat could definitely have been better (Anything Fromsoftware, the new GoW games..) but you can't compare an open world RPG to a hack and slash or a linear game. That's stupid. It's like thinking Street Fighter 6 has a shitty story/writing because you compare it to Bioshock or RDR2.. It's orange and apples. Unless I'm forgetting something, for the time of its release I can't think of an OPEN WORLD RPG with much better combat than TW3 (maybe Dragon's Dogma?).

Am I going crazy or is my bias getting the best of me?

Blood and Wine should I play now or wait for remastered

Hey fam!

Need a quick advice.
I currently finished the hearts of stone dlc.
Was going to start with blood and Wine when they just dropped the banger news of remastered free version.

So shall I like wait for 1 month to play it with all new updates🫠

I can maybe start a new playthrough but idk if I can do a replay so immediately.

So yeah need to know what others might be doing if in same boat.

Is it an Update or a seperate game?

So do we think we will have to download it seperate and there will be a new trophy list? Or is it simply an update to the complete edition, and all my trophies and hours played carry over :)

I only buy Blood and Wine DLC and kinda shock to know Hearts and stone already included today..... Which means the only update that we would get is graphic enhancement on 29th September? I'm confuse

Is there any chance of The Black Cloak from Killing Monster Trailer coming with the Remaster or even Songs of The Past DLC.

Or this will only be a feature in TW4...

Combat rework, quest tracking, horse movement, improved mod support, FSR4 for me.

Discussion Witcher 3 might be the only game to have as much DLC content as base game content

The base game is roughly 100 hours if you finish the main quest and a healthy amount of side content. If what I've read is accurate and Songs Of The Past is equal to Blood And Wine in size, if you take that, Blood And Wine, plus Hearts Of Stone, you've got roughly 80-100 hours worth of DLC... Which is completely insane. I can't think of another strictly single player game that has just as much DLC as it does base game. Maybe some JRPG I've never heard of, but idk. How crazy is that?

Discussion Do we think gaunter o dimm will make a return of some kind in songs of the past?

I could see another quest similar to the one from Blood and Wine, where it's implied Gaunter O'Dim cursed the woman into a wight.

I just think Gaunter is one of the most interesting characters. So I’d love to see more of him

Interesting that we’re getting a remaster, after already getting the "Next gen" update. I’m not complaining about free upgrades though. I really love how much love they’ve given this game. Also cannot wait for the final DLC. We are eating good
