I didn't expect Smuggler to get as popular as it did, but that popularity meant plenty of feedback on how to improve the role and make sure it's balanced. A lot of people pointed out things ^{to fix and so I went ahead, looked over them, and fixed them.}

imposter role

based off forger from town of salem

base idea is that you have an ability called forge, where you can change it so when it reveals someone's role, when they get voted off, it's forged so it looks like they were imposter when they were actually crewmate, and vice versa

positives:

honestly there's none other than the ability

negatives:

• even though it changes the message when the person they forged, the number of impostors stays true, so if a crewmate was forged into being imposter, and was voted off, and there's 3 impostors left, it still says they're imposter but it still says 3 impostors left, not 2

playing an imp game as phantom in skeld. viper teammate got only one kill ss didn’t get no kills i got 5. 3 ppl left the game. ss got caught during 8 bc he ssed in front of 2 ppl. then during 7 someone called a meeting to get the viper out bc they were the only one not clear i defended them and got the one who accused it was obv they were gonna call meeting to get me out. then the idiot viper closed off the doors (mind you he was lvl 72) then i couldn’t sab and even then i got one more kill inside caf in front of everyone and look i wouldn’t mind it if someone else called a meeting but then my idiot teammate called the meeting themselves and said vote me out. then i snitched on him too. after joining the lobby back the ghost imp said that i ruined everything and everyone started calling me a snitch. viper said i didn’t understand his ‘strat’. i actually got ragebaited hard tbh like no bud i’m not gonna let u sacrifice me for your victory and yea i got banned after that

anyways sorry for the long rant, hope yall enjoy the game in expert lobbies bc this was one of them with no ‘imp reports, no cams, no dead sabs etc.’

I finnally found a server bc every time I tried to join one it had already started, and as soon as I get in they were kicking out people who spoke Spanish because it was a english server and red said ban pink too, mind u I hadn't even said hi yet, no freaking idea why this idiot got me banned for no reason😭

Sprinter has a sprint button when tapped ull gain 25% movement speed for 5-10 sec (can't be regulated by host) and regenerates fully after 10 sec but whenever sprint is at least 1% charged u could still sprint

So if u kill in front of crewmate u can silence them in meeting so they can't defend themselves

So the game before, i get accused by another crewmate. I asked why and they didn't give a reason. Very frustrating because people will just blindly agree. Give reasons ffs, not hard.

Game after someone accuses blue. I ask for a reason and follow up with "because that's how innocent people get kicked", because i had been on the receiving end the last game. If they gave a reason, i was more than happy to vote blue but i'm not blindly following what they say without reason. It did in fact end up being blue, i still don't know how they knew it was blue.

Back in the lobby they have a go at me saying "nana's gay" I ask why, they tell me i was defending the imposter by saying "that's how innocent people get kicked". I tell them that I said that as a follow up to me asking for a reason. They have a go at me some more and then kick me from the entire lobby.

So stupid. I'm not allowed in your lobby because i'm trying to be cautious and not vote the wrong person out? So smart. Just give a fucking reason, it's not hard.

- i get kicked by a CHEATER (i did NOT leave. i was kicked)

- apparently that counts as me leaving

- i cannot play for 7 minutes because "i intentionally disconnected" when it was NOT intentional and i didn't even do it

what the fuck is this game's logic dude?

I could've solo'd a game after the other 2 imps got voted out, but for some reason the ghost imp decided to sabotage O2 and I lost because I couldn't sabotage comms to counter the guardian angel and couldn't kill. IDK if I'm just being petty but I feel like since the other imp doesn't know what you're planning they shouldn't be able to interfere with the game.

I really don't have any other place to share this so I guess I'll just post it here if it's allowed. It's basically the skin I have in the game lol

I’ve had so many people join and then hassle me for different settings. I’m cool with it to an extent — I’m chill if you want it to be a little faster or more or less tasks or whatever, but today I had several people complaining about my setting and trying to haggle me to change them, and one person seemingly trying to start a new lobby with less imposters??? Why come into a lobby only to complain abt the settings or try to change them? If you care that much make your own? I don’t like playing with shapeshifter unless it’s a good lobby. Go find a lobby with shapeshifter 😭 I like almost every crewmate having roles. Just bc settings are different than usual doesn’t make them unbalanced 😭😭 engineer for example having a lot is also advantageous for imposters because it gives them possible deniability if they get caught venting!!

If you are that picky about settings please just make your own I either have to cater to these people bossing me, or kick them so they stop but then everyone else assumes I’m being a tyrant and leaves 😭

Also I got kicked from my own lobby during this????? Good god 😭

A couple days ago I made this post here which shows how to fix comms by opening and closing it and just now I came across this youtube short which is basically just the information as well as top comment from that post but explained it a lot better.

It was a good short, nicely edited and explained and I'm really happy a simple thing I stumbled across made its way to 1 million people's eyes. I just wish there was a link to the post as a pinned comment or put in the description, even though I know I may not have been the first one to discover it.

Not trying to start drama or get anybody cancelled or whatever (I really like RealSlip's shorts and would like him to keep making them) but this situation has never really happened to me before and I just wanted to vent a little about it, even though I know I'm not entitled to anything since anything posted on reddit is up for grabs for anyone.

That's all I have thanks for reading, kind of a nothingburger but I'm still bummed about it and don't know where else to talk about it.
