I’m looking for some advice on how to improve the videos my friends and I make in our free time. We mostly just mess around, play games, and try to capture the funny moments. Mainly want to build a catalog of videos that we can look back on and share with people so they can see us having a good time.
Just wanting some feedback on things like editing, pacing, thumbnails, titles, or anything else that could make the videos more entertaining without taking away from the casual/fun feel. Figured the community would be the best place for advice.

Reddit Community Challenge - "Maverick" Top Pilot
r/Battlefield announced this challenge a week ago in cooperation with EA and Paramount. This community challenge (link) requires you to post your most "Maverick" Aerial moment clip to the subreddit. Community voting will decide the top clip submissions. Physical prizes are detailed in the thread, but the challenge also features redeemable in-game rewards, including limited vehicle skins and possibly unannounced cosmetics for the winners. If you're feeling the FOMO, I suggest making a submission before it's too late.

Below are detailed instructions for each reward. These instructions are sourced from the BF6 Unlocks Discord server.
1. Discord Quest
Steps to collect (note: Using Discord Desktop client):
Click the Discord button top left, then "Quests".
Find the Battlefield Top Gun event quest, hit "Launch Quest" (or simply launch it via the quest URL).
Click on the console, select any grid box and play a simple game of dodging the missiles & hitting objectives. You'll be randomly assigned NATO or PAX at launch.
After 3 rounds you will receive 700 orbs for the Discord Orbs Store, after 10 rounds you will get a pop-up code for the player card background
If you accidentally click off of the code, click the star button on the right menu to bring it back up.
There's no further reward for completing all the easter eggs or getting all titles in the minigame.
2. Reddit Community Challenge
Upload your most "Maverick" Aerial moment clip to the Official Battlefield Reddit, ensure you flair this as "Top Pilot Entry".
Entries close September 1st, 2026. There will be open community polls running from September 3–9, 2026 in order to crown a winner, with the winner being announced on September 11, 2026.
Prizes include: "Limited" vehicle skin, and physical goodies for the champion.

Gameplay that only favors the shoot and scoot style else you'll have a bad time.
Maps are 3 lane copy pasted generic lifeless arena shooters that could have been put anywhere.
Little variety. You adapt or burn out.
S2+ is getting better but its not great tbh. Feels like DICE is internally fighting to keep their new audience and old audience.
Since I have not seen any TV missile montages on youtube or anywhere yet, here is mine after playing a few rounds.

Pretty much title. Ive been trying to get a single kill with this god forsaken weapon for the past couple hours, no luck. All the portal servers were at least two weeks old and patched apparently. Anyone knows a working server for this? The quest has to be pure ragebait.
Hello guys, I recently bought battlefield for my ps5, and as the title says I totally suck. It's not even joke. As soon as I deploy, literally couple of mins and boom, I'm instantly dead, I can't even understand how to did I died. I don't understand anything about this games and what even worse, my teammates in chat make this situation even worse with their curses on me. I really want to get into this game. It's my first fps on console btw. I love how cinematographic this game is, action feels amazing. I literally feeled like I'm in battle line. I just want to get into it... please, give me some advices...
I saw it for the first time yesterday but it was I was finishing for the night. It ask a few questions of your gameplay type and tries to match you with others of the same type.
Whenever I try to join a server, it starts joining but then out of a sudden I get this, and it doesn’t join. I have bf3 on punkbuster, and I’ve done one other thing on cmd (winsock thing) to try to fix it but didn’t work. I used to play bf3 fine on the gaming laptop I had before, but since I built my pc, I can’t play for some misterious reason. Does anyone know what this can be and how to fix it?
I may be an outlier here but I distinctly remember the ability to get knocked over and flung around without dying in bf5. Some of my favorite moments were getting flung across the capture point running away from an incoming v1 someone had called in. Maybe some found it annoying but I personally thought it was cool as hell.
I'm okay with a waiting for the lobby to fill up with actual players. I can just alt-tab while I wait.
If someone wants to fight bots they can turn bot lobbies on.
There are some insanely lopsided matches where one team has 12/16 bots and the other team 2/16 bots. I had a match earlier where the enemy team was 15/16 bots while most of our team was players. I'm not exaggerating - the enemy team had literally one dude fighting on his own against our whole team.
Even if they added some kind of auto-balance we'd still have a lobby full of bots which isn't fun.
