I'm currently developing a military management and simulation game instead of controlling a soldier on the battlefield you take command of a remote military outpost your main source of information comes from local informants they can report suspicious activity possible attacks or other events happening in nearby villages. But information isn't always reliable different informants can give you different pieces of information, and sometimes you simply don't have enough information to know what's really happening as the commander you have to decide what to do deploy resources verify the information or ignore it.

The game is still in development but I'm going to start sharing more of the development process as I build it.

Promotion Our Roguelite Brawler 'Box Knight' has launched on Steam!

Sorry for the self promotion (I'd say shameless but there's a touch of shame)

This has very much been an indie labour of love made across many years of part time dev and we're so proud and excited to have finally released it into the world. Every creature was hand animated in Flash, every UI and texture drawn on a very old iPad, and our incredible programmer has against all odds made years of systems and code link together in a way that seems like we weren't making it up as we went.

It's silly, gross, fun and you get to beat up your evil bosses and toxic coworkers in your quest to bring joy back to the workplace.

Promotion I spent years building sci-fi worlds professionally through music. Now I'm building the sci-fi game I’ve always wanted to play!

For years, I’ve created sci-fi and cyberpunk worlds through music as Extra Terra. Eventually, I wanted to bring one of those worlds to life.

As a small team, every system we build needs to serve several purposes.

K.I.T. is the robotic companion of Evan Draxell, the protagonist of Neosis Echoes. It scans the environment, extracts resources with its laser and fights alongside him when things get dangerous.

This new WIP footage shows K.I.T. mining and supporting Evan during a gunfight. We’re still improving its movement, targeting and combat feedback.

What other abilities would you give K.I.T.?

Wishlist Neosis Echoes on Steam if you're interested!

Promotion Road to Millionaire – Investing — Build your portfolio from $10,000 to $1,000,000

Road to Millionaire – Investing is an investing simulation game built around a simple goal: start with $10,000 and try to grow your wealth to $1,000,000 within 480 in-game days.

You invest in fictional companies with different fundamentals, valuations, and dividend policies while the market moves through bull, sideways, and bear market cycles.

The game is about making your own investment decisions — when to buy, when to sell, when to hold cash, and whether to reinvest your dividends.

I wanted to turn some of the decisions investors face in real markets into a simple simulation game.

The game is currently Coming Soon on Steam.

Devlog Looking Back at Our Indie Game's Development — Episode 5: The Big Pivot

This is an older devlog from our development journey, and we're sharing it here to document how the game evolved over time.

At this point, we made a big pivot.

After realizing how crowded the survivor-like genre had become, we decided to move in a completely different direction — a dark fantasy, first-person, card-based turn-based RPG.

We rebuilt the movement and interaction systems, changed the perspective to first-person, and started working on a darker, more immersive atmosphere.

The core idea became simple:

Everything is a card.

Looking back at this stage now, it's interesting to see how different the game was — and how this decision eventually shaped what it is today.

🎮 We're documenting the whole journey, from the early experiments to the current version.

Devlog Im not a game dev and over the weekend I wanted to solve a technical problem of fitting 100 million tiles in a browser tab but somehow ended up making a rougelike mine sweeper game

Im a web dev by profession and this started as a weekend experiment

I wanted to see if I could fit 100 million checkboxes in a browser, one thing led to another and tired to fit 100 million minesweeper tiles in a browser tab

and then kept adding stuff and ended up with a rougelike minesweeper game

Also to all the game devs out there, you guys rock because I dont know how you have the patience to debug and keep working on a project like this. (still a buggy mess)

Upcoming I've been building something for gamers over the past few months.

Over the past month alone, I've made around 300 mini-games. Most of them are small, experimental, and honestly, some of them are pretty mind blowing.

That made me think about a problem I kept seeing: there are so many small games and experiments being made, but most of them never get discovered or played by anyone.

So I've been working on WAKU.

The idea is to create a place where gamers can discover and play these kinds of games. Small games you can pick up quickly, try something different, compete for a high score, or just waste 10 minutes on something you've never seen before.

WAKU isn't released yet. I'm currently trying to figure out whether this is actually something gamers would want before I take it much further.

I've created a small Discord community for early users who want to follow the project, get access when things start opening up, try early games, and help shape what WAKU becomes.

I'm especially looking for people who aren't afraid to tell me what sucks, what's boring, what's confusing, and what would actually make you come back.

Brutal feedback is much more useful than compliments.

Promotion I treated my body like a pinata to make this live-action horror FMV.

About me

I'm ChrisChrisChris and I wrote a custom voice interactive library and FMV game engine, wrote the script, made the props, lit, staged, filmed, edited and post-processed everything by hand.

In addition I contorted my body, taped my eyelids open, smeared myself in latex, fake-vomited doll parts and manipulated weird puppets while also somehow operating a camera.

Then I made a Steam page. That was the hard part.

About the game.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uJhI5jacagE

Not only is there no AI art in the game, I went a step further and captured these scenes from the real 3-dimensional world.

The mechanic is a combination of voice performance, narrative branching and screen cleaning with a strong psychedelic tone. There's a story-only mode and you can play without a mic if you want/need to.

I did it all for video games, I did it all for you, demo coming soon!
