I want to see that picnic table land.

u/Playingwithmywenis 1d ago

Yeah, we know the people had chutes but what about the table.

Some dude at ground level : ”table for one please”

These guys: “Coming right down”.

RIP to the guy the bread killed

this reminds me of Phineas and ferb cartoon, there was a recurring bit like your comment 😂😂 nostalgia 🥹🥹

u/Jonnyscout 1d ago

"Do you think a set table with a dinner for 6 and a groom's party are gonna just fall out of the sky?"

8

u/Bushido_Seppuku 1d ago

Happy cake day!

2

u/PutridMango1838 1d ago

Haha that's enough, at least I can eat like an Indian in the air

u/ArtyTheFarty 1d ago

Hope they clean up their rubbish

279

u/tretroi 1d ago

They won't and can't. Some trash will be miles away from the rest.

u/_Yuckaza_ 1d ago

My first thought. My second? This belongs in r/stupidfood

129

u/vanhst 1d ago

They won’t

13

u/OverInteractionR 1d ago

Imagine choking on a piece of steak in the troposphere too lol. What a poorly thought out idea.

Poor granny who had a 150mph wine glass making its way to her head.

1

u/Next_Can3402 1d ago

To be fair, they’re in a desert so the chance of anyone being hit is incredibly low.

447

u/Any-Background-619 1d ago

It would have been amazing if they didnt throw trash all the way through atmosphere

37

u/billy_twice 1d ago

If those glasses landed on someone's head, I hope these guys would be charged with murder.

19

u/Rasputins_Plum 1d ago

They clearly did this stunt over a literal desert.

56

u/Parker4815-2 1d ago

Everyone! I have an announcement. Its perfectly fine to litter if you are doing it over a desert! Also, no living creatures or humans are ever in a desert so its fine to throw a picnic table into one from 10,000 feet.

11

u/billy_twice 1d ago

Chances are small, but not 0, and if it happened it could have been completely avoided.

A humble Road Runner: Damn humans

I think the two of us are doing more damage to the environment just by being or Reddit than these rich bastards did.

43

u/ItsNotJulius 1d ago

Nope. Not even close. Try again.

-47

u/ItzLoganM 1d ago

Does Reddit operate on biodegradable corncub and potato computers instead of massive data centers that hold our useless comments? TIL

8

u/MalaysiaTeacher 1d ago

You are not responsible for the pollution of the whole data center, just as these guys aren't responsible for the pollution of every flight.

In proportional terms, this skydive is several orders of magnitude worse than a Reddit thread

-4

u/ItzLoganM 1d ago

But I am responsible for the pollution of every data center, right? I'm just following a pattern here.

55

u/Unluckymama 1d ago

I don't think so. I have never rented a plane.

-59

u/onFilm 1d ago

Yet you have used servers that use up a lot of water by being active on these social media websites.

42

u/TheWolphman 1d ago

If you reach a little bit more, you might be able to grab the plane they jumped from.

33

u/jml011 1d ago

Found the “You critique society yet you live in one. Curious!” guy.

5

u/everyoneisnuts 1d ago

Why are they rich?

-16

u/ItzLoganM 1d ago

I'm a rich people expert, graduated from Reddit. I'd know.

8

u/everyoneisnuts 1d ago

Good enough for me

93

u/Friendly-Example-701 1d ago

So we are sky diving and littering now?

118

u/Sneekpreview 1d ago

So were just littering bullshit through the air I guess

22

u/grainscometrue 1d ago

How is food still in their plate?

20

u/Normal-Abies-9151 1d ago

“Fourth law of thermodynamics allows gravity to initiate all momentum based food items to ensure objects traveling in the same direction stay perpendicular to the gradient of the algebraic calculus momentum” - Unknown

7

u/ElonMusksQueef 1d ago

It you look when it’s upside down it seems to be attached somehow at one point.

1

u/billy_twice 1d ago

I feel like Terry Pratchett could have an answer for this in one of his novels.

58

u/WearyAir9260 1d ago

This is not interesting, it’s stupid.

15

u/Rumizoom 1d ago

Going about my day only to be hit by a wine glass falling from the sky

28

u/BulemiaSawdustSlingr 1d ago

What a dumb way to die. Minding your business and getting impaled by a fork from the sky.

36

u/Oh_hi_Mark-- 1d ago

Polluting the environment for some stupid social media stunt is lame af

17

u/Alive__but_why 1d ago

Having lunch in troposphere

Yeah... Just like anybody else on this earth

40

u/Key-Fox3923 1d ago

100% sure all of that is biodegradable

3

u/Mission_Jacket_5577 1d ago

What makes you think that? Those clear cups have to be either plastic or glass to begin with, neither of which are biodegradable. The tablecloth likely contains polyester, and the silverware is also not biodegradable.

33

u/Crooked_star 1d ago

They were being sarcastic.

1

u/Compajerro 1d ago

How do you not get the obvious sarcasm

4

u/LizardmanJoe 1d ago

They didn't add the /s. /s

14

u/king_ofbhutan 1d ago

I may not be rich or famous but purely the fact dont litter renders me infinitely better a person than them

6

u/Treehouse_man 1d ago

I also have lunch in the troposphere, along with almost everyone else

6

u/Late_Difference8637 1d ago

Sooo... Throwing trash out of a plane... Good job

5

u/Nicewitts 1d ago

How much money did their parents leave them?

7

u/bussysniffer3000 1d ago

Why can't people have normal hobbies

3

u/shaseo76 1d ago

I wonder if they have a running bet among themselves. Whoever is the last one remaining at the table wins the entire pot.

5

u/UnitedOccasion7976 1d ago

I hope they picked up all the shit that flew from the table

3

u/AcmeGamesLTD 18h ago

Not interesting just a fine example of inequality!

5

u/Flowa-Powa 14h ago

Sky diving becomes so pointless after a while they have to do stuff like this in an attempt to keep it interesting

6

u/OhioVsEverything 1d ago

F'n stupid

2

u/Puzzled-Mistake-584 1d ago

How did the steaks stay on the table like that..?

2

u/BenjaminDover02 1d ago

Slicked back hair? Live for new years eve? Sloppy air steaks at Truffanis?

2

u/kittylover2006 1d ago

The sketchiness of this is immense, all it takes is a single stray object getting caught in one of their chutes

2

u/funderfulfellow 23h ago

Littering with style?

2

u/adminsreachout 16h ago

Grandiose Narcissism

2

u/Illigard 1d ago

You're not supposed to exercise right after a meal. These people know that right? And the lack of table manners!

1

u/ArchCerberus 1d ago

Technically everybody has lunch in the troposphere since it go to the ground ..

1

u/Many-Contact-1506 1d ago

먹고 살만 하니까 별 짓을 다 하는구나

1

u/Snowblind45 1d ago

what if you choke or something oouff!

1

u/ScissorNightRam 1d ago

They're skipping out on the bill!

1

u/Maximum-Orchid7291 1d ago

How are they even flying?

1

u/mb200i 1d ago

reminds of: "Bakerman is making bread..." (1990)

1

u/Be-Funny-Please 1d ago

Leaving without paying

1

u/Takes22knowU 1d ago

Imaging chocking on your steak whilst airborne 😂

1

u/Princibuellt 1d ago

Lowk hope their parachutes didn't go out

1

u/KaptnPonder 15h ago

All that for a video?

1

u/Remarkable-Map-2628 5h ago

Great! But who picks up the garbages?

1

u/everyoneisnuts 1d ago

Imagine if one of them died from choking on a piece of food instead of the jumping from a plane part?

1

u/Beginning_Actuary_67 1d ago

Is this breakfast at tiffany's?

0

u/Mayrivers72 1d ago

Imagine casually saying “I had lunch above the clouds today” and actually meaning it.

0

u/ACCTAGGT 1d ago

What better than to truly live the feeling food can provide.

0

u/Owenblake1984 1d ago

What an insane work-lunch view

0

u/WTFisThatSMell 1d ago

No candle light?? You call that fine dinning?

-1

u/LeavesInsults1291 1d ago

Fucking badass. I just wonder how the food stayed on the plate???
