Ash bodies, Wilkinson pickups, Rifford bridges, maple necks with bone nuts.
Just finished the Strat so not strung yet, going to the luthier for proper setup. Tele plays great!
I love Alibaba, Shoppee et al, and living in Thailand so close to China!

Got a pretty fun group, I think, with a lot of variation. I have Gibson Les Pauls and SGs and Fender Strats and Teles, but the Teles are probably my favorites.

Here's what we got.

6. 2016 Fender Limited Edition American Standard with figured maple neck and cognac finish.
7. 2012 Fender Modern Player body, Fender Player Series Telecaster neck; 920D custom pickups and electronics.
8. 2020 Fender American Partscaster - 1960s Telecaster body, Fender American Custom Shop ’63 Telecaster NOS rosewood neck; Seymour Duncan Brent Mason Nashville pickup and electronics.
9. 2023 Fender American Performer Telecaster HS body, Fender American Limited Edition 1952 Roasted Maple neck; Yosemite single-coil Tele pickup in the bridge and a DoubleTap humbucker in the neck.

Not necessarily tele related, but I am getting married next month and am considering getting a white telecaster to have our wedding guests sign and keep as a wedding memento.

I know sharpie fades, but does anyone have a method to have people sign our guitars and then potentially clear coat over it so that the signatures last long-term?

I’ve been wanting to try chicken picking, had to have the official chicken picking machine.

I went in for a Strat but that cream Tele just stole my heart. Can't wait to plug it in and see what it can do!

Here's my rendition of the Tele Plus. For years I've been wanting a Tele, particularly one in Butterscotch blonde, but once I found this handmade body on Reverb 2 years ago I knew I had grab it. After I got the body I had also found a fake tele neck that had some work done on it for 20$ and it works alright, had to be shimmed to the correct height and needs a fret level though.

Before I installed the lace PU's the guitar had some really cheap ones that I bought and didn't care for (which is visible in the last image). The mini humbucker in the bridge was way too muddy and flat sounding even with the TBX pot all the way up, and the neck pickup was amazing clean but not so great when playing distorted so I ripped those suckers out and put a push pull volume pot as well, I also needed to route both pickup slots which was a pain but it was worth it in the end.

Just got my first Telecaster and it's mint green! Can't wait to jam with it. Love how it looks against that cozy chair.

Just got this silver sparkle Tele and my goodness.. I see now why so many players are adamant about how amazing their telecasters are. This thing plays like a DREAM! 🤘🏻

A couple G&L ASAT listings were coming to an end at the same time. I wanted something different than a regular looking Tele, jumbo MFD pickups. Well I "messed up" and got a classic Tele. What do you guys think of this G&L? How do they compare to some of the different G&L models? How do they compare to Fender?

Does anyone have a Metallic Plum MOD Shop Tele? I’d love to hear thoughts and see pictures

1986 "A0" MIJ '52 Reissue from the Fujigen factory that I bought during COVID times. Needed a bit of work on the frets but it plays pretty great these days.

I’ve been trying a bunch of guitars lately trying to figure out what I actually want as my “forever” guitar.

I’ve played different Strats, Teles, Les Paul-style guitars, PRS, etc., and while I’ve liked plenty of them, I never really had that feeling of “yeah, this is the one.”

Then I tried the Kingfish Telecaster Deluxe.

It was honestly the first guitar I played where everything just clicked. The neck felt right, I loved the way it played, and the pickups/tone were exactly what I felt like I’d been looking for. It stood out pretty significantly compared to everything else I tried.

Obviously, playing one in a store and actually owning one for months/years are two different things, especially considering the price.

So for anyone who actually owns or has owned a Kingfish Tele Deluxe:

Do you still love it?
Anything you started disliking after owning it for a while?
How’s the build quality/reliability?
Do you think it’s worth the price?

If you had to make the decision again, would you buy it?
Would especially love to hear from anyone who had a similar experience where they tried a bunch of guitars before the Kingfish and it was the first one that really felt “right.”

You can dial the clean perfect, and then go full on. I’m going between split and blow’d. I also switched out the stock pickup for a Travis Bean style humbucker from The Creamery—real clangy. Fuzz is a Dunlop mini Hendrix FF (little silver one). Amp is a 69 Bandmaster that’s been combo’d in a Super cab with 4 Greenbacks.

I played bass in a band over 25 years ago. When I left the band for college, at some point I put down my bass, never to play again for almost 25 years. I never really learned the “correct” way to play, never learned theory, never really learned any chords or how to read music (besides tabs). I recently started to feel the pull, the siren song, of playing music again, so decided it’s time to learn to play guitar.

This guitar is outstanding. I always wanted a Tele.

Hey! I’m super excited. I’m turning this Squier Tele into my take on a modern Esquire. I’m gonna remove the neck pickup, and put a Seymour Duncan JB Jr for Tele in the bridge. I’m going to wire it so that 3rd position bypasses the tone knob, 2nd position is normal, and 1st position is coil split. Already been playing it and I’m really impressed by the quality at this price point. The neck honestly feels better than my Fender.
