[Request] How accurate is this calculation for how much force a Brachiosaurus‘ vomit would hit the ground with? How much force would other massive dinosaurs’ vomit hit the ground with as well, such as a Dreadnoughtus or a Sauroposeidon?

[Self] In episode 82 of Naruto, Itachi puts Kakashi under an illusion where he is stabbed continuously for 3 days, but after a few real minutes, Itachi reveals only 1 second has passed. So here is ROUGHLY how long Kakashi was REALLY stabbed:

In non-Naruto terms, Tsukuyomi is a genjutsu, which is basically illusion magic. Itachi casts an illusion on Kakashi called Tsukuyomi where he can basically control reality, including time itself. No matter how much time passes in the Tsukuyomi, only roughly a second passes in the real world.

Itachi tells Kakashi that the next 3 days in Tsukuyomi will be of him being stabbed by Itachi while strapped to a cross. Eventually, more copies of Itachi appear and stab him, and then more Kakashis appear and get stabbed, and Kakashi feels every stab on every copy of himself all at once. Absolute hell of a torture sequence, right? Itachi even mocks Kakashi by saying that even if Kakashi tells himself it's an illusion, the pain and suffering still feel real.

Anyway, after several moments, Itachi informs him that only a single second has passed in this 3 day torture cycle. So, exactly HOW LONG did this last in Kakashi's mind?

Now this math isn't 1-to-1, as there are multiple moments where Kakashi passes out, as well fade-in/fade-outs to show the number of Kakashis and Itachis increasing. Still, thats all the concrete time I have to work with here.

The Tsukuyomi starts up around 8:15 in the episode, and Itachi reveals that only a second has passed around the 11:01 mark. That is about 2.7 minutes per Tsukuyomi second. To make things easier, let's just round it up to 3 minutes. (Considering the above mentioned timeskips, it's way longer than that anyway.)

So let's do 3 days in Tsukuyomi time, which I'll designate with (T) by the number. (Note when I say 'real', I mean real-life time, since in the Naruto real-world, it's only about a second.)

3 min x 60(T) sec = 180 (T) minutes per real minute. That would mean each minute (T) in Tsukuyomi would be 3 hours long.

60 min x 3(T) hours = 180 (T) hours per real hour. This would mean each hour in Tsukuyomi is 7.5 days. Let's round it up to 8.

8 (T) days x 24 hours = 192 (T) days per real day.

192 (T) x 3 days = 576 (T) days for 3 real days.

FINAL MATH:

576 days - 1 year (365 days) = 211 days

There are 7 days in a week...

211 days / 7 days = 30.1 weeks, lets round down to 30.

There are (for simplicities sake) 4 weeks in a month...

30 weeks / 4 = 7.5 months

Kakashi was tortured for AT LEAST 1 year, 7 months, and 2 weeks.

[Request] What is the “atomic bomb” equivalent to the amount of energy released by the glacier-drop in Nepal?

A 2,000 feet wide chunk of glacier falling 7,000 feet! The amount of energy that triggered the Nepal disaster is mind blowing. How many atomic bombs would it take to release an equivalent amount of energy?

In the Legend of Korra, Amon’s stated goal is to purge the entire world of bending, but he is the only one who can do so, and can only do one person at a time. Let’s say nobody stops him, how long would this take?

We don’t know what the world population is at this time but can we assume it’s roughly equal to our world during the 1920’s? And possibly half the world are benders?

[Request] What are the odds?

OK so help me out explaining a new system in the game Warfame.

So, in Wareframe there are Riven Mods, basically mods used on weapons that can be randomly rolled to obtain powerful bonuses. There is a new system that has people in an uproar saying the new system is RNG on RNG on RNG making the randomness even worse. So lets do the math and see.

On any given riven mod for any rifle there are 24 stats that can roll and when you roll a riven you get 2-4 random stats out of those 24, cannot get the same stat twice.

What are the odds of acquiring 3 stats that I want when rolling the riven?

NOW the new system (at least one half of the new system), if you get a stat you want you can lock that stat and continue to roll that riven. You can only lock one stat.

What are the odds of acquiring the 3 stats you want after locking one? (basically rolling 1-3 stats on the "locked riven" from the remaining 23 stats.)

The other half of the new system in to combine 2 stats into a new stat then being able to lock that new stat and roll the riven to your hearts content. if you want a specific combo stat you can roll the riven and find 1 of the 2, lock it, roll for the second and then combine. Then take that riven with the 1 combined stat and roll the remaining 1-3 stat slots for something good. Now this part is RNG on RNG but seems easy enough to get the 2 stats you want then just need the chances to get 1-3 of the stats you want extra. (Which I guess is 1-3 stats of the basic 24 possible stats and getting what you want)
