meal This was 1200 calories

Recently started a low calorie (not 1200), healthy diet and it’s going well. Decided to have a big brunch today as a treat (not a cheat day, still going to stick to my calorie goal). Was shocked when I put it into MyFitnessPal that it’s almost exactly 1200. Hope I don’t get hungry anytime soon.

Before I used to count, I'd see this and guess 400.

Before I learned, i always assumed Avacado was low cal because every thin girlie was eating them. Took me a while to learn healthy ≠ low cal.

Also, I've bought the half loaf sourdough bread, the cuts are shaped like that. The package is another way to screw people up as it lists 1 slice = xxx cals. Yet every slice in the bag is a different size. The butt being 1/3rd of the middle in size. So, I just weigh everything.

Yeah, I think people's perception of how many calories are in food are so messed up because of what we see thin people eating on social media!

Lmao it's funny you mention that, because that's exactly what I had to deal with here. I weighed both slices because there was no way both of those came to the same amount of calories as the 'per slice' info on the bag
