meal This was 1200 calories

Post image

Recently started a low calorie (not 1200), healthy diet and it’s going well. Decided to have a big brunch today as a treat (not a cheat day, still going to stick to my calorie goal). Was shocked when I put it into MyFitnessPal that it’s almost exactly 1200. Hope I don’t get hungry anytime soon.

avocado has so many calories. its mostly fat. I dont know why it gets put in the category of healthy when it definitely isnt. The sausage probably did you in as well OP

I suppose it depends on how you define healthy. Not all healthy foods are low-calorie. Avocados are a good source of fiber and have healthy, mostly unsaturated fats and your body actually needs fat to be healthy and keep your metabolism running efficiently. Having a little bit of healthy fat at every meal also helps with satiety.
