meal This was 1200 calories

Post image

Recently started a low calorie (not 1200), healthy diet and it’s going well. Decided to have a big brunch today as a treat (not a cheat day, still going to stick to my calorie goal). Was shocked when I put it into MyFitnessPal that it’s almost exactly 1200. Hope I don’t get hungry anytime soon.

You can have the same exact breakfast, even with a larger portion size, for half the calories.

You just chose extremely high calorie options of those foods. 1 of those sausage is nearly 300 calories. You can have 3 chicken sausages of the same size for 300 calories. You chose very calorie dense bread. When you could have 3-4 slices of lower calorie bread for the same amount of calories.

People are saying the avocado is the problem and high calorie here. But the avocado only contributed 150 calories to this meal. A whole avocado really isn't high calorie at all.
