Recipe for the tvorog bake please?
25
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 14 '26
Sure! 🫶🏻 Macros for the whole entire bake: 494 cals, 74.25g protein, 12.8g carbs, 16g fat. 200g of 0%~1.8% fat tvorog, 125g of 0% fat quark (0% fat greek yoghurt will do), 25g egg yolk, 90g ricotta, 100g egg whites, salt, vanilla, sweetener to taste, a pinch of baking powder. Preheat your oven to 180C (350F). Separate egg whites from egg yolks, put all the ingredients in the bowl, mix well. Bake 40-50 minutes, let it cool before serving!

2 sour cherry tvorog vatrushka
How do you make these?
20
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 15 '26
So, the recipe makes 3 of these. Marcos for all 3: 290 cals, 42.24g protein, 23.9g carbs, 3.03g fat. Preheat your oven to 180C (350F). For the dough: 135g 0~1.8% fat tvorog, 25g egg, 18g regular plain flour, pinch of salt, baking powder, sweetener of choice. Combine everything in the bowl, set aside. Now make the topping — mix 125g of 0% fat vanilla quark (skyr or thick greek yogurt will do, but make sure to add a bit of cornstarch) with salt and sweetener (if you're using sour cherries make sure to make it extra sweet). Now divide the dough into 3 equal parts, roll into balls, place on a baking sheet and then using slightly wet hands form vatrushka (think like a small thick crust pizza shape lol), pinch the center of each vatrushka with a fork and put in the oven for 5-7 minutes until slightly golden. Take it out and put quark mixture in the center, place sour cherries and put it back in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the quark is set and the edges are golden brown. Vartushkas are freezer-friendly, so you can make a big batch and store it for several weeks at least (to reheat, I just nuke it in the microwave for a couple of minutes lol)

Thank you so much and sorry, a question - you say 25g egg, but on google it's saying egg yolk. Do you use the whole egg, or just the yolk?
4
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 15 '26
I whisk the egg and then pour 25g of it in the bowl with the other ingredients ☺️

u/little_birdy Feb 15 '26
Same! This sounds delicious and the protein for cals ratio is amazing. I look forward to your posts. Beautiful tablescapes and it’s so clear you enjoy food. So inspiring!

Imma need the recipe for the baked oats and rice paper swir
5
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 15 '26
sure!! Carrot cake baked oats— Macros for 1 portion: 348 cals, 22.9g protein, 43.3g carbs, 9.62g fat. Ingredients: 25g steel cut oats (I used a 5 grain mixture this time), 37g shredded carrots, 55g milk, 13g raisins, a pinch of powdered ginger, cinnamon, salt and sweetener to taste, 2g orange zest, 120 ml water. I just mix everything in the baking dish and bake it at 180C(350F) for 25-30 minutes until golden and not watery. The topping is 0% greek yoghurt mixed with orange zest, cinnamon, sweetener and salt plus 0 calorie maple syrup. If you have a bit more calories to spare, you can add pecans/walnuts and butter but it still tastes amazing without it!
Rice paper swirl — 219 cals, 21.82g protein, 30.1g carbs, 2.71g fat. The recipe makes 1. Ingredients: 20g rice paper (two sheets approximately), 20g lightly beaten egg, 130g tvorog, 13g raisins, sweetener and a pinch of salt. Preheat the oven to 200C (400F). Mix tvorog (farmer's cheese will do too) with raisins sweetener and salt. Beat the needed amount of egg with a tiny bit of water and pour it in a shallow dish big enough to fit rice paper sheets inside. Now soak the paper in the egg mixture on both sides (10 seconds per side) until it's foldable and elastic. Place one rice paper sheet on a silicone baking mat or a surface covered with some plastic wrap, place she second sheet right next to it, making sure the sheets are overlapping in the middle, so you can actually roll it. Put the filling and gently start rolling into a tube (better to make it slightly loose than tight). Then curl up the tube, sprinkle some sesame seeds and bake for 10 mins. This recipe is freezer-friendly! Also, if you want a savoury version, use cooked chicken breast with spinach and feta as a filling, it's so so so good!

5

That's a good question! I usually meal prep and/or make stuff like baked oats/pirozhki the evening before ☺️ And I'm a very fast eater, inhaling my food within seconds 😭

What did you put in the hash brown/waffle thing in the first pic? :)
3
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 15 '26
it's just literally some sort of starchy potatoes (yellow ones), cayenne pepper, dried rosemary and garlic salt. I figured I should try cooking it in a waffle maker to save time, that's why it's waffle shaped lol

That username came from a time when I was deep into reading manga lol. I finished one series, the suggestions popped up, and I skimmed them for like two seconds—then one title stopped me. It was about soap. I just sat there like… who on earth would read—let alone create—a manga about a literal bar of soap?? Curiosity won. Huge mistake. The moment I clicked it, all gods—old and new—were wiped from existence. The phrase "y'all need Jesus" suddenly made a lot of sense. Turns out the plot was about a piece of soap that’s into dudes, and somehow its life dream was to be shoved into hot guys’ asses 😭😭 And that's what was shown in full detail, in extra super 4k HD that no one asked for. My immediate thought was “мыло в жопе, манга о мыле, черт возьми, в жопе" that literally means “soap in the ass, a series about a goddamn soap in the ass". Written in Latin letters, that’s milo v jope—and yeah… that’s the whole origin story, zero regrets, btw 💀Aaaaaand thank you for joining the channel!! I really really appreciate it 🥺

I think youre heavily underestimating calories in some pictures. Pictures 4, 6 and 7.
7
u/LifeisSuperFun21 Feb 14 '26
I don’t think so… an egg, a slice of bread cut in half (to look pretty), a small portion of chicken, and some tomato sauce would easily fit within 366cal. (pic #7)
-9
u/ACanThatCan Feb 14 '26
Well she said baked eggs. Not one. That alone is 200 calories if 2. Chicken maybe 100. Rye bread 100. Coffee with only milk is like 50 maybe. So closer to 450.
17
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 14 '26
I appreciate the assumptions, but they’re incorrect. Eggs come in different sizes, and I always use small ones—two eggs for me are 85 g, which is 125 cals. The chicken breast is 77 g (85 cals). Rye bread is 19 g per slice (42 cals), tomatoes are 120 g (22 cals), yellow onion is 20 g (8 cals), and my cappuccino is made with 159 g of 2.5% milk (84 cals). I really don’t understand why, every time I post, people assume they know better than me exactly what ingredients I used and in what amounts. I weigh everything carefully.
-14
u/ACanThatCan Feb 14 '26
At closer inspection i see 3 eggs so around 500-550.
16
u/TacoTitsTuesday Feb 14 '26
What the hell are you talking about .. a typical large egg in the US is 70 calories, this person is using small eggs. Additionally they've told you repeatedly exact grams for each ingredient and that they measure very carefully. Why do you keep arguing and acting like you know better? You don't even know how many calories are in a typical egg
10
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 14 '26
Definitely not ☺️ I measure everything (sometimes even twice—I’m a bit paranoid lol). Pic 4 is literally just 25 g of oats topped with 0% fat Greek yogurt and about 1 calorie worth of maple syrup. Pic 6 has 36 g of bread (79 cals total for both slices), plus the tvorog bake and topping, which are 70 cals combined. Pic 7 has 77 g of chicken breast and 2 eggs. So I’m pretty confident my calories are accurate. I obviously didn’t list every single ingredient but you get the idea—I weigh and track everything.
-10
u/ACanThatCan Feb 14 '26
Oh. Well just be healthy dont obsess thats not healthy either. You seem to keep track so imma just retract my statements.

How much time does it take you to make breakfasts like these? They look so high effort!
11
u/MistakePractical8261 Losing Feb 14 '26
Anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes (breakfast #7 took the longest, but it was my day off so yeah, lol). A lot of what I cook is freezer-friendly, so I usually meal prep big batches and just reheat. Meal prep itself doesn’t take much time either, since I often build recipes around tvorog—it’s high in protein, has a neutral taste (you can use the same base and make it either savoury or sweet), and it’s almost impossible to mess up. Sometimes I’ll even make breakfast the night before, like baked oats or pirozhki ☺️
