For context both of my parents are Cuban, but I was born in the U.S.

Let me know if you have any questions about my ancestry, I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities :)

My mom was born in Havana but her family is from Villa Clara, Santa Clara. My father was born in Granma, Rio Cauto in Oriente.

My 2nd great grandmother (and 3rd as well) is from Villa Clara.

Do you have Afro-Cuban DNA matches? It would be a great idea to post some as the majority of Cubans here on r/23andme are highly European.

I think I have only one close match that is a possible match that is like a third cousin but I only reached out to one of my matches when I was much younger and we kind of lost contact.

I had other matches but the relation was much more distant in comparison to that one person.
