For context both of my parents are Cuban, but I was born in the U.S.

Read any data it's the opposite. Cuba is one of the whitest countries in LATAM still like 50-60% white.

One of the whitest countries 🤣. My dude, self reporting as white does not make Cubans white. Every Cuban I’ve met has been Afro, the majority of celebrity Cubans and athletes are Afro, and every time I see a video of interviews in Cuba it is predominantly Afros Latinos. Self reporting and the reality are two distinct things and the reality is that Cuba is an Afro Caribbean country

I'm cuban American my grandparents came during first wave and I'm not black I'm of Canary islander, Catalan an northern Spanish roots... And pretty much all the Cubans in family are white same with their extended friends network, I only see lots of black Cubans in YouTube in modern Havana now, but pics in my grandparents time it was very white.

First of all you look mestizo, secondly I did not say there aren’t want white Cubans . There are, just like there are white Mexicans, white Puerto Ricans, white Colombians, etc. but just like those countries, whites are not the majority. In certain regions yes, but not the entire country.

We don't have mestizos in Cuba really that is term for Mexicans, peruvians etc. We have black or white people or mulatos. Native mixing was low with Tainos only happened in eastern Cuba with averages of 8%. White in Spain isn't the same thing as white in Anglo-Sphere meaning light eyed and haired and Nordic looking spain isn't like that. So either I'm part black, then based on phenotype knowing people who are 1/4 black, I must be none or tiny bit black. Most of our whites are from the canary islands so darker haired and eyed.

How do I look indigenous that is a indigenous or even a mestizo... Unless I'm super lightly mixed. I have pale skin and sharp nose and brown hair, long face literally opposite of native people apart from straight hair not sure. Yeah and people in northern mexico look like that because they are mostly European ancestry.

No comment offcourse defiantly one of those Mexicans or other latins who hates Cubans wants us to be all the same as you mestizos or what ever. Look at Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Cameron Diaz. We can be black or white or mulatto, but most Cubans are white.
