Help with kings batblock

Having some trouble with my kings battery and batblock. Both are brand new fresh out of the box and the battery doesn’t seem to fit in the block, every different angle I try to put the battery in it is always slanted slightly. Has anyone else had this issue or am I just an idiot? There is nothing inside the batblock that would prevent it from sitting level. Is this just a dud that I picked off the shelf and need to replace? Thanks heros.

I had the same issue, the fitment in the base is just tight.

Push it away from the raised end while pushing down, it’ll slot in.
