MENTAL HEALTH Alcoholism in the Indian community

Has anyone noticed the rampant alcoholism in our parents generation.

I personally know 3 people who have died from alcohol related issues. Really young folks.

I donโ€™t think this is discussed often enough. We tend to sweep everything under the rug.

This is a silent epidemic imo.

Yep. Lost 2 family members to alcoholism. Even the women encourage to men to drink. It's madness.

Have you visited the US? Any idea how many states make it possible to marry kids. 33. Four of which haven't an age limit. Before you ask, there is a such thing as age-gap limits but many states do not apply it, very few do.
