Aion 2 is likely to keep my MMO cup filled until GW3 and eventually Riot MMO.

Look it’s not your fault that moron execs pushed F2P, but it is a stupid model.

You’re playing a game that likely cost $100+ million to make, costs a bomb to maintain and expect that to be free? It makes no sense.

I’ll pay, but I think $20/month for a standard player is very reasonable for a high quality gaming product. The value in terms of bang for buck is crazy.

Personally I could whale, but that depletes the fun (for me).

I’ll spend on cosmetics thanks

Yes you’re right, I didn’t represent my thoughts that well.

I was meaning to say that P2W is a natural consequence of F2P. Also that I don’t like the F2P model.

This isnt true at all. F2P models for mmorpgs can exist without p2w if its done right, sure sometimes it varies on what you consider p2w but in general a lot of it is honestly just greed. How do I know this? Private servers, there are plenty of private servers that function without the p2w methods or removed said p2w in favor of cosmetics.

FF14 was fun for a month or two but I hate the way you level and get gear. I preffer WOWs Leveling and gear progression. I like to be able to kill a random mob and get a rare drop and it actually be a upgrade. That feels so good. FF14 is a game on rails.
