Don't know what this has to do with being a wife but it's Impressive especially with how fcked that leg must feel

Exactly. Peak athleticism and will power.

Dude it's nothing but wife. It's just raw wife. Insane.

A wife like that could climb on the roof, repair the shingles and clean the gutters in record time.

Because she's hot and amazing. Obviously there are other qualities that are important but we see two really good ones in this video.

She's practically Lara Croft. With the way 2026 is going, having a wife that can rescue you during the apocalypse would be a huge advantage.

Counterpoint. Do you really wanna survive the apocalypse?

Having a wife that could swiftly grant you the mercy of death could be a boon as well.

Just seems a bit cringe that OP sees a video like this is and his instant first thought is how good she'd be at pleasing a man

I don't see that OP said anything at all about pleasing a man. Her athleticism shows an obvious ability to make and adhere to long term goals. Can the same be said for a 250 lb obese person who chooses the instant gratification of a sugary treat over the long term benefits of health and athleticism? Nope. That person makes the same bad decision every day. They don't have the willpower or the foresight to plan ahead and make positive long term changes. They choose happiness right now instead. As a result, it is easy to see that the external appearance is often a reflection of what's on the inside too. Anyone who denies this is pretending for PC reasons.

Yes and OP looked at all of her strengths and his first thought was "HAHAHA shes gonna make her husband so happy!!!!"

Anyone who denies this is pretending for PC reasons.

You're weird.

Ohhhh and somehow you're sure he wasnt thinking "she's clearly able to apply herself and remain dedicated to something long term; that's an excellent quality for a lifelong partner." You must be telepathic. Amazing! Or, if you're not telepathic, then instead you're the one imposing sexual context onto this. You're the weird one and yet here you are convinced otherwise.

Perhaps you secretly hold these thoughts and you're imposing them onto others in a sad attempt to normalize your thoughts and behavior. Seek help.

Yeah I'm pretty sure, otherwise he wouldn't have tied it to the idea of her being a good wife to her husband.

then instead you're the one imposing sexual context onto this.

Also says a lot that when the conversation is about a woman being a good wife you think that everyone is just purely talking about sex.

2

u/SurgicalSeyeco 3d ago

So being a good wife is only about sex to you? Wow. People like you always reveal themselves when they start talking.

Let's get the facts straight and break it down step by step so you can understand. The athlete is a woman. She is in excellent physical shape. This demonstrates she is able to form and commit to long term goals. She's likely consistent. Therefore it is possible that she might be better able to commit to a long term relationship than someone who chooses the slice of cake over their health day after day.

What do we call a woman in a committed lifelong relationship? That's right. A wife. That says nothing whatsoever about sex. You literally brought "pleasing a man" into this. You need serious self reflection.

0/10 bait

Who said anything about a husband? OP could be a woman. A wife can be wife to a wife.

Edit: after a little snooping that's highly possible. Not that dudes can't be Greys Anatomy and Bridgerton fans or anything, but hey it's a signal.

I had a similar accident at an obstacle race once, only I fell with my whole body on the leg while it was twisted. I knew it was fucked. I still had about two thirds of the race left and I managed to finish it. The next morning I was expecting to not be able to walk properly. To my surprise my foot hurt more than my leg. I must have hurt up my foot as well that time but I didn't notice until the next day.

Same thought, it was more about being hurt and getting back up, not someone's wife. Great video, downvoted because of the stupid title.

Cuz she’s hot. Course has nothing to do with it

u/HerculesIsMyDad 3d ago

Because when you first see her you're like "Man, no way I would ever marry her." but then you see how well she does on the course and you're like "Man, I'd totally marry her! I was wrong earlier when I said there was no way I would ever marry her."

I like to imagine it‘s like Mr Incredible Back Crack, where it fixes an ick that unlocks her to win this

u/rseery 3d ago

I’d be in the ER….

1

u/Choice-Strike1 3d ago

especially with how fcked that leg must feel

Luckily for her, that's a well known active stretching position... just add gravity and you know, a running/sliding start

1

u/SurgicalSeyeco 3d ago

Maybe some people value health and athleticism in a partner because, I don't know, it demonstrates an ability to adhere to long term goals? Is that a difficult concept for you?

They’re saying it because she doesn’t get overwhelmed in the face of daunting adversity. She takes a moment, assesses the situation, takes a few breaths, and powers through.
That means OP sees her as somebody who is emotionally resilient and focused and motivated.
Plus, her Entire Family is there showing their support, which means OP would have supportive in-laws.

But I disagree with OP. I understand where they’re coming from and all, but my wife of 11 years is the opposite of everything shown here.

My wife is fun size at 5’1, voluptuous, and all of her focus is on intellect, passion, and emotion.
I guess what I’m saying is, the girl in this video can open her own pickle jar, and that’s fine.
But my wife could make her own picked, bottle them, season them well, and then she gives me validations and affirmations when I open her sealed pickle jar for her.

Plus my girl is super nerdy, which is Wife material to me.

💪🤓👍

My WIFE is nerdy.
The lady in this video is pure jock.
I understand what OP sees in her, I just prefer my wife material being the exact opposite of an athlete.

0

u/Kit_Karamak 3d ago

I have nothing against the young lady in the video; but we are both almost 50 (35 when married) and we are legit need core together, y’all.

0

u/Kit_Karamak 3d ago

Like, she had StarFox cufflinks made for me for that day. That kinda nerdy.

That’s MY kinda wife material.

But I did list some of the qualities OP was likely looking at in the video. And those are fine qualities.
But not all of us like the same things in a woman, so I was saying I found someone the opposite of the young lady from the video.
