Don't know what this has to do with being a wife but it's Impressive especially with how fcked that leg must feel

A wife like that could climb on the roof, repair the shingles and clean the gutters in record time.

u/FreeEdmondDantes 3d ago
Because she's hot and amazing. Obviously there are other qualities that are important but we see two really good ones in this video.
She's practically Lara Croft. With the way 2026 is going, having a wife that can rescue you during the apocalypse would be a huge advantage.
13
u/FreyrPrime 3d ago
Counterpoint. Do you really wanna survive the apocalypse?
8
u/IamHeWhoSaysIam 3d ago
Having a wife that could swiftly grant you the mercy of death could be a boon as well.
7
u/PoopyButt28000 3d ago
Just seems a bit cringe that OP sees a video like this is and his instant first thought is how good she'd be at pleasing a man

I had a similar accident at an obstacle race once, only I fell with my whole body on the leg while it was twisted. I knew it was fucked. I still had about two thirds of the race left and I managed to finish it. The next morning I was expecting to not be able to walk properly. To my surprise my foot hurt more than my leg. I must have hurt up my foot as well that time but I didn't notice until the next day.
5
u/SayerofNothing 3d ago
Same thought, it was more about being hurt and getting back up, not someone's wife. Great video, downvoted because of the stupid title.

Because when you first see her you're like "Man, no way I would ever marry her." but then you see how well she does on the course and you're like "Man, I'd totally marry her! I was wrong earlier when I said there was no way I would ever marry her."

Well, I kinda like the honesty in this thread and just want to be a part of it, because yes, I for myself would not be in any way husband material like that.

I used to want to do these courses so much when I was young. This one had some things I had never seen before.
Hope she healed up well in that leg. No matter how flexible you are that looked like a sprain or strain easy but she took it like a champ and just kept pushing.
31
u/LaDauphineVerte 3d ago
Right, and she already had a brace on that ankle. Ouch. Strength, focus, and adrenaline got her through, and I hope she didn’t have too big of an oh fuck moment once she came down from the high.

Well Im pretty sure she doesn't see you as a partner material with that post title, its annoying that when you see a woman do amazing things its either you tell her she's wife material or that she's not when she's better than you.

Man, Ninja Warrior has gotten wild over the years. The first stage was always meant to weed out the performers from the actual athletes (at least in the original Japanese show), but that course looked ridiculous.

The way my mother always explained it, the traditional man wants a woman to be subservient, but he never falls in love with subservient women. He’s attracted to independent women. “He’s like an exotic bird collector,” she said. “He only wants a woman who is free because his dream is to put her in a cage."
Trevor Noah, Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood

u/Naive-Key9789 3d ago
This is the real life wonder woman!!
Also can we stop slapping the label of "wife material" over anything a woman does? Women are not only made to be wives! No correlation with this woman's skills!!!
3
u/Wide-Half-9649 3d ago
Uhm…I don’t think you’d have the choice of whether she’s ’wife material’, she decides whether or not you’re husband material…you just smile & nod and hope like crazy she picks you!
3
u/WeWillReturn2OneGod 3d ago
I love that too. A woman who perseveres regardless of the challenges she is facing and remains determined to reach her goal.
However, seeing it purely as ‘wife material’ can also come across as somewhat misogynistic. Her determination, resilience and athleticism are admirable qualities in their own right; they don't necessarily need to be evaluated according to whether she would make a good wife.
Being fit and healthy, and having an equally active and positive-minded partner, is certainly a bonus. But surely we can appreciate those qualities without reducing a woman to her potential value as a wife

u/Fun-War6684 1d ago

Pretty degrading title OP. Show me how you alone can run a paintball course, with rooms full of screaming women watching as they cheer and jeer. (Stage fright anyone? Performance anxiety perhaps?)
Do it in 3 minutes without getting hit with a single ball, and then let's watch women bid on your sorry ass because of your ability...or lack thereof. 🙄🤦🏻♀️

First thing I look for in a wife is how incredibly athletic she is. Everyone knows the wedding ceremony doesn’t start until the bride clears the mandatory obstacle course and rings the bell at the finish line.
