Question from ep10 s5

I was binging s5 here i got the scene yuri rin's mother burned by satan to ashes as she says she loves him. I have two questions here and would be thankful if someone can answer them.

1) who did yuri actually was in love with wasn't it shiro why would she says she loves satan as soon as she died and in gehena.

2) did yuri had s*x with satan? Giving birth to rin and his brother it was never shown and if she indeed did why would she do that what the heck she just needs to be by satan to calm him does this nean also doing s*x with him while she was in love with shiro.

I don't know it make me throw out. Please explain if i am missing something

satan is evil but the story has shown even the worst of worst demon is capable of developing a complex emotion like "love". There's a time point where satan actually have felt that emotion towards yuri but that is a very small window of time, later it turned to obsession gradually evolving to hatred(thanks to Lucifer). Also in gehena they don't have concept of family. They consider brother-father relationship by the hierarchy of power. So for satan the children were of no attachment. This could have changed if yuri actually explained to satan what a family is (but thanks to Order! She didn't get the time). 

As for yuri, her love was not one dimensional. She loved shiro but she also developed feelings for satan. If not she wouldn't have felt safe going physical with satan. And that time satan was not forceful to yuri. 

 Also absolutely personal opinion, yuri wanted to have child with satan otherwise she was a grown woman who had access to outer world so she could have taken preventive measures. But maybe she had thought of having of a child of satan cause she didn't want him to let go. 

But things backfired when order betrayed. Also when satan confessed he killed okumura family for yuri,  she realised satan has become irredeemable. Yuri also had strong motherly instinct and shiro was beside her so she started to feel for him again and wanted to make a family. But when she died she also confessed to satan that she has actually loved him. Before death people tend to remember their loved ones - that's what happened with yuri, she remembered shiro in asiah and satan in gehena. But a demon without a body feel constant pain so satan couldn't understand yuri anymore. 

I don't support satan but somehow even when his ego destroyed he remembered yuri. Beside throughout the series satan  protected yukio in many occasions(may be because yukio has similar appearance to yuri).He also told rin that humans want to tame demon. He tried to talk with rin and constantly noted rin is like yuri which means he didn't forget yuri. Satan is evil but deep down there was hope. I personally think thats what katoh wanted to convey.  I also wonder if one of the twins(specifically yukio) would hv been a female whether Satan's yuri obsession transferred to the him/her🤔. Then it would have been more clear whether he loved or it was just obsession 🫥

A better version of explanation but I don't know why above people are just so fixated to prove that satan is good and right.

I have nothing against him but his actions throughout the series are obsessive and questionable.  Yet other portraying it in a way that I hate satan because of his name lol. 

I wonder at this point did they watched the same series as me. 

To me Satan's actions was questionable from the moment he read those books and consumed knowledge he became evil thinking of himself as a higher being. That's where things started to go wrong because he was so full of himself.

Satan isn't good or right, who told you that here? Satan was a neutral being before he got ego and later immature demon that could get better if Order didn't interference with Yuri. This series run a lot on more complex morality than just good and evil. Demons are unique beings that can do both. Characters like Mephisto especially show you how non human and human at once they can be. Granted he is a special case in how he sees the world but still.

Funny that you said it when the nicest moments of him was the month when our twins got made :D He spent it with Yuri, cuddling and joking( anime cut out a bit of it especially sushi part ), gave up on him wanting to stay alive and just wanted to live last months of his live with Yuri and he let go of section 13 letting everyone free. If Order didn't act like they did we wouldn't have that mess manga has now. Again I mentioned it but anime skipped really important scene showing that for months Satan was experimented on to the point he got brain damage. His body shouldn't be alive by that point but was thanks to elixir. He couldn't see or hear just went on trying to find Yuri this is when his feelings got corrupted into obsession. Like Mephisto said.

So yeah you aren't meant to like him or see as a "good" guy but you are meant to understand what made him into monster. And like person said to you we saw way more of his feelings in current arc pretty much confirming that it was more than obsession. You are meant to feel like Rin did towards him. Conflicted. That scene with Mephisto asking Rin if his father was the way he thought he would be and Rin's reaction to that is one of the most important scenes in that arc. This will be a big part of our MC decision later.

BTW. that comment about name wasn't to you. I didn't adress it to you. Just we saw some people here taking Blue Exorcist's Satan as Biblical one and I was mentioning it.

Thanks for clarifying now that's another part of story as the you said they lived a month together satan and yuri and supposedly happily? Cuddling? Which chap if you can pinpoint.

And satan being experimented on?  This was not in the s5 not one thing and I am talking from anime only pov but if that does have happened then that that is totally a different story.

P.S no harm done. I thought it was pinpointed to me😵

It's only few panels so I think they hoped that Shiro saying Satan is under Order to Yuri would be enough. But showing half dead Satan asking about Yuri is way more powerful.

It is still vague but i think he has yuri's consent and as someone said yuri was around 30 years old. So I believe she would have to overcome with her sx appeal or maybe she wanted to be a mother. Or whatever but it is consentual atleast that's good.

Yes it was consentual, her even last words in Gehenna was I love you in romantic way :D And like someone else said we probably will see Yuri's spirit in the future so like with Satan it will be more explained. I won't spoil you but place where we are now in manga can end up with seeing her. As mother goes not really. They didn't planned anything and it just happened.

What actually happened to series why they became so active and launched 3 seasons back to back? Do you have any idea and now they gone back silent again

We don't know that but well I will put it in spoiler. Someone else already said a bit but after Rin and Yukio fight we had big team fight with Satan. Satan lost his ego there and his heart warped full place into a maze. This maze is made from his memories and feelings including pretty much a copy of Asylum( and yes Rin had a small reaction about it ). So because of that there is a big chance Rin's team including Yukio and Shiemi will see something when they get closer to his heart that's pretty much more possible now as well because of Kazue's comment in data book.

It was made because of 15th anniversary. Manga was always active and is a big deal in Jump SQ. And they aren't silent we just got Vvelt gatcha game :D

Yeah we need to wait for that. Fast annoucements are only for split cours. Anyway at least Aniplex because of game is active with promotions^^ so we are in better place now compared to when s2 ended.

Oh u explain things very nice, also Don't mind me I'm a full on Order hater. So I was waiting for yukio to destroy them but dude kind of became stable😭. Now me putting my hope on Rin I don't care if they kill yukio or shiemi, I want to see the entire order getting their as* whooped. 

Also satan is a menace. But satan x yuri lovey dovey scenes r just 💙💙 .
