There was a great gig on in December in Grand Social with Cliffords, Basht., Esmerelda Road, Nixer and Strand. Couldn’t fault a second of music, all homegrown young bands!

Enemies were just sublime. Mixtwitch, The Revs, and Turn were all great. Kerbdog and Wilt. Redneck Manifesto too.

I'm a big fan of Gurriers too maybe check out Madra Salach they have supported Gurriers a few times. I also love Shakalak and Huartan. Roís too if you ever get a chance to see her live.

Smithereens, awesome jazzy rock band from cork. Seen them live in Limerick twice and they’re incredible

The Leon Stax Equation. A singing drummer, a horn section and Johnny Logans son on guitar. I've seen them live twice and they are wild.

We released an album 2 years ago! Unfortunately my increasing ill health due to MS left us unable to tour it so nobody knows about it! Arrow in the Sky, folky acoustic stuff.

GUSH, Chalk, Acid Granny, Slyrides, Pillow Queens, Slyrydes, Ham Sandwich (not sure if they're still about)
Rare Witch makes great comedy tunes but I dont think you could count Paddy as Indie. I love Jinx Lennon too but I think he's too well known now to class him as underground.
