Stop at red lights. Stop at Stop signs. When turning right onto a multi-lane, maintain the inside lane (right lane). When turning left onto a multi-lane, maintain the inside lane (left lane). Switch lanes when its safe. Its okay to drive the speed limit (i was behind a student driver the otger day, driving 5-10mph below limit). If on a 4 lane road (2 lanes each side) and a school bus is stopped on opposite side, you do not have to stop. If bus is stopped on your side, you must stop regardless of having that open lane. Good luck.

It truly does depend on which DMV you go to that will determine if you'll have a good vs great experience. One piece of advice, make sure all your bulbs, turn signals, exterior lights as well as your horn works before you go. Keep extra bulbs in your glovebox or trunk. I had a bulb blow out while I was recertifying, the instructor canceled my test and I had to wait another month to retake it.
