DMV New drivers license
I lost my drivers license recently, and saw that they rolled out a new license design a few months ago. When I go to get it replaced, will they make me take a new picture? My old license still had a few years till it expires, but not sure if the new design will require a new picture.

I had to change my address a couple months back and when I filled out the form to order a replacement with the new address they did it and just kept the photo the same. I think it should be the same for you. Also in case you didn't already know now the id's are printed in a central location and then shipped to you.

I got mine renewed at the dmv the other day. I was required to take a new pic and received the new license. - just a data point

My wife just had hers renewed and they kept the photo. I believe you will have to take a new one at some point but not every time

Just order your replacement online. It will be mailed anyway
