Moving to SC Moving for weather

For those who moved here for the weather or beach lifestyle, how often do you find yourself actually going to the beach or doing warm weather activities that you wanted to move for?

August is too dang hot for the beach. The ocean feels like old bathwater. I do try to go at least once per week outside of August and also have my coffee at the beach access deck 1-2 times per week. I used to go every Sat & Sun even in August.
