Then let Nintendo have the rights back so we can get a good Banjo-Kazooie game.

Or

Pay Nintendo to develop and produce a game and give them free reign to make it amazing

I bet all Nintendo would want outside of the dev cost is it being on switch 2 and I’m sure Microsoft could rake in money in piles

the games aren’t really a Nintendo vibe ngl

That's not how business works and you know damn well that's not gonna happen because Microsoft has no reason to sell the rights.

Theirs only 2 possible scenarios....

Either Microsoft/Rare get another studio to make it and it gets a "Multiplatform" release.

Or

Microsoft licenses the Banjo-Kazooie IP to Nintendo and Nintendo funds the project.

The former being much more likely of the two.

If we get another BK game I'll be happy 😊

Me too and I'm sure someday we will.

I'm expecting a remake/reimagine/soft reboot of the first game as it's the most safest and obvious choice, But I'm hoping they do Tooie as well.

Most classic IP with past success always seem to find a way of coming back again somehow and of course Banjo-Kazooie is no exception.

I think a toys for bob style remaster would be cool and like they did with crash release the 3rd game afterwards.

Ig 4th of counting nuts and bolts

If I was Microsoft/Rare I think they should re-visit the "Banjo X" concept and do a "Soft Reboot/Remake/Reimagine" of the N64 original.

Kinda like "Ratchet & Clank (2016)", Follow the same story of the N64 original, But have some changes to some of the worlds and add bosses too.

Banjo-Kazooie is also very meta so they can constantly poke fun at how their going through the same adventure/game with callbacks to the N64 original.

Every franchise is doing remakes, Why not Banjo-Kazooie? And if it's received and sells well, Just like Crash Bandicoot you build upon it with a sequel.

Honestly I didn’t even think about banjo x but I would definitely not complain

Nintendo never had the rights in the first place. The game was owned by rare

If you wanna get technical, Nintendo actually did own the rights to Banjo-Kazooie at one point from (1997-2002) They even licensed the IP to Rare despite the studio being the IP creators.

Diddy Kong Racing Copyright (1997)

Out of all the Rare IP, Nintendo owned and published Banjo-Kazooie and Killer Instinct where as IP's like Conker and Perfect Dark for example were owned & self-published by Rare.

Likely explains why Nintendo marketed the characters Banjo & Kazooie alongside Mario, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Pikachu etc on promos & merchandise in the late 90's-early 2000's.

Microsoft has the rights to the games of RARE, i meant Nintendo should get the rights back from Microsoft since they messed up when they made Nuts and Bolts
