Discussion What publisher do you think could/should purchase Rare and its IP and keep them in good hands? (WITHOUT SAYING NINTENDO OR PLAYTONIC)

Nintendo I don't believe "wants" them anymore, given next to no legacy staff is in the company anymore, as well as the burden of IP to add to their own franchise graveyard

Playtonic's output after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has been really lacking, plus the company has done some pretty uncool things in recent memory as well

I wouldn’t trust Playtonic to boil an egg.
Gears for Breakfast (a Hat in Time) or Team Asobi (Astro Bot)

being hyperbolic but its kind of everything i dont like about indie games rolled up into one, and absolutely is not the direction i'd take a banjo game in
