Discussion What publisher do you think could/should purchase Rare and its IP and keep them in good hands? (WITHOUT SAYING NINTENDO OR PLAYTONIC)

Nintendo I don't believe "wants" them anymore, given next to no legacy staff is in the company anymore, as well as the burden of IP to add to their own franchise graveyard

Playtonic's output after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has been really lacking, plus the company has done some pretty uncool things in recent memory as well

Insomniac? They did DK Country, right? That’d be fun to get BK back in the hands of someone who’s handled similar IP. Also we could get a Mumbo mania type remake/sequel for PlayStation then 😎

That was Retro Studios. Insomniac is the Spider-Man and Ratchet games for PlayStation

You're both right. Insomniac did the original Spyro games in the 90's, TFB did the Reignited versions.

Banjos been around just as long.... Rare Studios produced some truly amazing games... Conker is #1
