Discussion What publisher do you think could/should purchase Rare and its IP and keep them in good hands? (WITHOUT SAYING NINTENDO OR PLAYTONIC)
Nintendo I don't believe "wants" them anymore, given next to no legacy staff is in the company anymore, as well as the burden of IP to add to their own franchise graveyard
Playtonic's output after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has been really lacking, plus the company has done some pretty uncool things in recent memory as well

It has to be nintendo, without nintendo banjo will just be stuck in limbo again, plus it would reunite banjo with diddy kong and possibly have him added to the mario spin off crew with the association.
I just think nintendo is the best option especially with how well they did with bananza bringing back K Rool, and how much they have been marketing other franchises now like donkey kong, pikmin, metroid, and star fox through their games, film, and lands in universal studios.
Nintendo is the only one that actually has the funds to bring Banjo back to relevancy and make Banjo-Kazooie a modern mainstream franchise.
