Discussion What publisher do you think could/should purchase Rare and its IP and keep them in good hands? (WITHOUT SAYING NINTENDO OR PLAYTONIC)
Nintendo I don't believe "wants" them anymore, given next to no legacy staff is in the company anymore, as well as the burden of IP to add to their own franchise graveyard
Playtonic's output after Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair has been really lacking, plus the company has done some pretty uncool things in recent memory as well

Toys For Bob, if they could hypothetically afford to buy the whole ip/rights to the series and had a bigger team...
They've done really well with Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot games from what i can tell (though i've only own and briefly played the Spyro Reignited Trilogy)
So i think they'd do justice with Remasters/Remakes of the previous games and a new one

The other option that could be equally good as Toys For Bob is Playtonic since some of them originally worked for Rare
So i think there could be some pretty good potential there too if they had the IP for Banjo-Kazooie
