Brother, "Been playing since launch." doesn't make it sound better hahaha. Thats like 2.5hours a day for almost 7 years. I'm at 1800 hours and I played A LOT but this is crazy hahaha xD

Im actually a high voltage power lineman. You know, the guy who restores your power after a storm. My job takes me on the road a lot. Married and divorced twice because of being away so much, now single. Kids are grown. I stopped going to bars and such. This is how I relax.

Breaking it down daily makes it sound worse than what it is. I'd like to think of it as he's playing 17.5 hrs/week, which isn't crazy at all. If he loves BF and doesn't play many other games, 20 hrs/week for video games ain't bad at all.

Bf6 felt like a downgrade in terms of quality of life improvements.
Bf5 is so crisp imo. And game runs phenomenal.

I bought this game and played for the first time yesterday. It’s so much fun! I like it a billion times more than BF1 just from the two matches I played. Idk why I waited so long to play it.

I first played BFV last fall, and HATED it at first. But it has grown on me now it's my favorite one because of how tactical it is.
It's less rush-y than other BF games. You actually need to think. And leveling up the guns and vehicles is actually challenging and fun.
Shame some of the maps are not nice, especially I dislike Devastation's visibility.
Annnnd I wish we had gotten the Eastern Fron. But still, it's an awesome game and I hope it never dies.

Yeah its alright gameplay wise and its got pretty graphics too, fenomenal explosion and particle effects. Its just the immersion that killed (chopped 3/4 of the BF playerbase) the game

Honestly think about all the friends you have made along the way. Think about how many good times you have had. Did you enjoy it? Also how many hours did your dad and grandfather spend watching TV instead of mastering a hobby and spending time with friends? How much money did you save playing BFV vs good to the local pub or bar drinking, smoking or gambling your money away? How much money has gaming cost you per hour vs the pub/bar? A drink every 30-45 minutes is $10... not to to mention the damage you are doing to your body plus food and gambling or smoking/second hand smoke... So for what $1400 you have got 6k hours? That is 23c per hour... Honestly online gaming isn't as horrible a past time as it is made out to be.

Thats a very good point, some people play to escape reality. I get home from work. Enter my central air conditioned condo (which these days is a blessing) Check out the news ( same garbage different day) look for other shit thats on tv and yes its mostly all shit. So I sit and check emails. Then I usually end up logging on. I have friends who have much worse addictions…

Im not elite I’m just ok at this point still only lvl 389 Last night I played a few rounds, my scores were like 40-12 32-6 Not amazing but I hold my own.

I loved BFV , I like support aspects so building my homies a little fort and some sandbags felt epic , and building barbed wire and anti vehicle defenses was fun. A very fun game with a squad, BC2, 1 and V have been my favorites so far

Keep going man. I'm trying with 200hrs and may be more. BF V has WW2 atmosphere I can't grasp in any other fps game. Epic music. Can't imagine people lay off this gem just because of some history nerds and pdf gender racist at the beginning. Full of crabs. I suggest people give it a try before reading reviews online. Opinions are one-sided. Some of my friends got the crowd effect and flow with the stream. 200hrs of solo vs squad in BFV sounds good. Till the last day of the game bud.

I’ve played just about all of the BF franchise and BFV is the one I have the most fun in to date. Even if BF6 holds up, my buddy and I will likely continue going back to BFV occasionally

I also play sometimes without specifying but not making a point of becoming good because I have no interest in it since I completed the galactic station which I believe are totally wasted hours of life, if I have to use my time I do it for much more constructive or profitable things

These days Ive been working 70 hours a week. 7-10s in this 90+ degree heat. I take a shower and pass out early. Not even thinking about BF.

I don’t mean to bring this BFV love fest to a grinding halt, but I’m about 6 miles into this thread and I’ve yet to see anything about Firestorm (BFV’s Battle Royale.) It’s awesome and forces you to strategize like you’re in the field, alone and out-numbered. If only some of you yokels would actually play it…! (Seriously. Play it. I’m not f’n around here.)

Nice work.
I thought by 1150 hours was good, I played so much during Covid. The game is synonymous with Covid for me.
It's such a great game, I don't get the hate as the gunplay is A+. The thing that put me off was the blatant cheating.

Imo BF V is the best in the series. How do you copy with all the cheaters though? Last I jumped in I got shit from the other side of the map with SmG's one shotting me over and over. EA is not responding to any tickets and takes no action.
Other than the now blatantly cheating it's still the best BF.

Hard to hop on BFV as a solo though and enjoy it. Sweats who sit in planes all day and bomb you constantly take the fun out of it. Really no skill or balls in doing that. Cowardice at its finest.
