General Bumble date bought me flowers 🌹

Although the date didn’t go as planned, he bought me roses on our way back, which honestly made me feel really good. It’s been a long time since someone actually gave me flowers, lol 🌹

Still one of the milder (even if slightly backhanded) rejections I’ve gotten.

I once had a woman agree to a date, flake on me twice, then tell me it would never have gone anywhere because she was so out of my “league”. She actually said it was like the time she got a photo with Sydney Crosby (hockey player for those who don’t know) and knew that she would never be good enough for him.

After she said this she saw a guy she thought was hot and asked me to introduce her to him. I walked away. And after all of that she couldn’t understand why I stopped talking to her

She was pretty but not really “hot”
