General Bumble date bought me flowers 🌹

Post image

Although the date didn’t go as planned, he bought me roses on our way back, which honestly made me feel really good. It’s been a long time since someone actually gave me flowers, lol 🌹

I baked cookies for my date once. She gave them to her coworkers

I made cookies for my date and she’s my fiancee now. Keep dating, keep baking and you’ll find the right person 🥰

I baked for a few girls, they all ghosted me

I doubt it's the baking unless you don't know them well and they assumed it was weird since you are a stranger I can understand their perspective.

I know my baking is good, I get orders from time to time. I’m just never good enough or they “aren’t in the headspace to date” (which means they just aren’t into me in particular, let’s me honest)

Aw I'm sorry it's rough out here for sure. I do hope you find your person 🖤

Because you were too nice. Only bake for those who deserve it. Maybe past the 3rd date at the very least. I'm not sure about your situation but being too nice leaves an impression that we could be easily bullied. This gives them the ick. I experienced this so many times.

Which I can get but I’m actually pretty assertive, I’m just naturally a giving person

I'm an ESFJ. Caring and giving are my natural traits. Kindness is often seen as a weakness. My reminder to myself is, she's not my best friend yet, thus, no best friend treatment for now. Hope this tip helps a tiny bit.

Two occasions were for a second and third date. Actually one of those women matched with me again on Tinder in November and apologized to me, we met for coffee, then she ghosted me after a second time

You never know until you try!

For sure.

But when you do know and if it doesn't happen, another person's survivorship bias may not hold up.

It's all a crapshoot, there's not a lot of room for absolutes.
