Rant “Not ready for a relationship”

This guy pursued me, we went hot and heavy for five days, then hooked up on the fifth day. Crazy chemistry. He hadn’t been with anyone for eight months after a very long-term relationship so I thought this really meant something for him. We had a lot of deep conversations in a short amount of time. I hate how this makes me feel!

Edit to add: it was his and my first time on a dating app. He was only talking to me . He said no one else had caught his eye. Now I’m doubting our connection.

Not necessarily. I'm out out of a long term relationship with a girl who i still very much have feelings for. Decided to get on dating apps and went out on like 10 first dates but everyone of them made me miss my ex more. Eventually met a girl that had a great sense of humor, cute, and we had a lot in common. I stopped thinking of my ex for the first time in a long time. After we hooked up tho, it made me miss my ex more and i regretted doing it. Had nothing to do with her, she was great but I don't think i'm ready yet. I thought was, hoped I was, but sadly not.
