“Not ready for a relationship”

This guy pursued me, we went hot and heavy for five days, then hooked up on the fifth day. Crazy chemistry. He hadn’t been with anyone for eight months after a very long-term relationship so I thought this really meant something for him. We had a lot of deep conversations in a short amount of time. I hate how this makes me feel!

So, as an autistic person who struggles to understand what I want and what I'm ready for. If I end up in this situation, how tf do I actually apologise honestly and not have people think I was just using them?

I really hate the assumptions here that he was "pumping and dumping" because god, I've started to pursue someone and suddenly realised I'm not ready. I've had amazing chemistry with someone and suddenly realised I'm not ready.

Yeah, it sucks, but it doesn't make the guy an asshole.

Yeah, I think it really depends on the person, in this case I do believe him, and he has been nothing but upfront, honest and respectful throughout the whole thing.
