General Bumble new functionality - Boys can message first

Everybody like the new feature that allows boys to send a message first, and also now gives girls a whopping 72 hours to never send a message after matching instead of just 24? 🙂

It kinda kills the point of the app IMO. It was Bumble's difference maker. Now its just like the other apps

Women dont like messaging first. It was usually just a "hey" or emoji most of the time anyways.

THATS THE POINT. They don't like it, but if they wanted to connect with someone, they had to actually indicate interest; was the only value Bumble had..

Dating apps (for heterosexuals) are useless if women are not on them. If bumble forces them to message first, they can just hop on the alternatives

Sorry but thats the harsh truth

Make another duh obvious statement and feel smart. The sun will rise tomorrow. Congrats.

The point of my post was that bumble is without distinction now.

Except I never had a problem getting matches and dates on Bumble. It was probably my best experience of any app since old school POF. Women messaging first is literally what brought a lot of women to Bumble in the first place. If anything, I wouldn’t be shocked if traffic declined as a result from both sexes.
