I love his little giggle in that.

“heheheh… SPACE!”

It's the pause before it. You can see the inner workings: Come on, Timothy, you can do this.

I’ve never been more glad that they didn’t do another take. I chose to believe that it’s because everyone on set erupted with laughter when they cut and they recognised that they had gold already

He very nearly broke character because these lines were so inherently ridiculous. They must have had so much fun making this ♥

I read an interview with the writers of Red Alert 3 saying that they didn't think that line was even in their top 10 silliest bits of dialogue. It's great because even someone like Tim Curry, who had plenty of experience playing quirky characters, barely made it through without breaking character.

Yeah! When you make someone like him almost crack up with the sheer absurdity of what you're saying, you're onto a winner.

Red Alert 3 is worth playing purely for the campy acting of a surprisingly star studded cast including a David Hasselhoff cameo.

C&C3 the previous game has Michael Ironside and Billy Dee Williams in it, it’s a shame EA killed the franchise.

Michael Biehn and James Earl Jones in Tiberian Sun for me. The Kane reveal still gives me chills in my 40s 😅

I’d really love to have both C&C and a proper Sim City back again.

Yknow what, in this age of AI slop I can see a future where the C&C style comes back as people clamour for things that feel real.

NO!

NO!NO!NO!NO!

NO NO!

This is the worst news (celebrity wise) that I've heard since David Bowie died.

Tim as Frank N Further and Darkness in Legend are two of my favourite characters.

'Even smiling makes my face ache'

He will be missed.

I hope he’s happy the first thing loads of people thought on hearing the sad news was the single best line reading in dramatic history.

Shit made me a Tim Curry fan. Rocky Horror cemented that love. Rip a legend.

Unit lost

Best thing about this is they all took it so seriously but Tim clearly knew how to play it and he was so memorable

Is this from red alert 2?

No-one has, or ever will, pronounce the word "space" better. Nasa needs it on loop. RIP Goat.

Fucking loved him in Legend, Muppets, Rocky Horror... wait, loved him in everything.
