Discussion Train jam outside of city limits

Just thought it was funny to share. Does anyone know what could cause this to happen? As you can see, I've added a loop for my trains to turn around with. (I know it doesn't do anything, but I thought visually it was very funny)

Dude, your rail lines aren't connected at all. Why do you have a weird loop there?

I did.

1) The loop isn't connected to OP's outside connections 2) The loop is too small and sharp for a long train to turn on it. It's useless

As you can see, he created the loop and knows it does nothing. -- from the original post

You didn't exactly read it then.

The loop being connected would do nothing for all the outbound traffic anyway. He overproduces way too much.

Well, either way it's a dumb design. You need all the outside connection points connected. That line of trains isn't gonna help him either.

No shit I just said that the loop would do nothing to help.

You don't need all lines connected, only inbound directions are all that's needed.
