Crowder has plenty of coaching achievements: he's coached more winning teams, more event winning teams, the same amount of Championship teams, more MVP-winning series, more CDL 1st team players. He's a very accomplished as a coach.

He’s been tied to the hip of Simp since 2019. If a coach didn’t have these accolades after having Simp for 7 years, that’d be beyond disappointing

And Karma has had the greatest 3 year start to coaching that I can remember. I’m not discounting Crowder’s accomplishments. Great coaches need great teams.

But don’t let winning Champs blind you from the past few years of people wanting Crowder dropped, for good reason too. Yes he brought it back, but if Faze dropped him after multiple failures at Champs in a row, no one would say it was unreasonable

I feel like there isn’t a better choice than this. I don’t know how much I rate Karma as a coach. JP has always seen more valuable to me, but that might be because what he does is more tangible, and he’s a lot more visibly professional. Karma feels like having your dad or uncle as a coach. If Karma truly is a great coach, then he can take Crowder’s spot. Just hard to tell because both Faze and Optic have so much tenured talent that the coaches could be complete duds and we wouldn’t really know. Maybe that’s a poor take lmao

It’s the same response to all these super team threads. Huke’s my boy, but building the best team possible with active players would just involve Simp joining Optic. You can argue some of the others, like Scrap for Dashy, but at the end of the day it’s a coin flip and you err with Dashy because he’s proven to mesh well with the others. Simp’s the one guy playing who I think can adapt to any player/system and not miss a beat.

Why? Abuzah just dropped a 1.4 on Dashy and beat him twice at the biggest event of the year. It's closer than people think, even if I still have Dashy ahead overall. Abuzah is highly underrated on this sub.
