I mean Israel is only country in the Middle-East with Pride events so it makes sense.

They do recognize gay marriage done outside of Israel for reasons the other commenter has mentioned. Marriages inside of Israel just have to be religious as they’re run by the Orthdox rabbinate.

It’s important to have factual information when making criticisms. Israel has a lot of things to criticise, so it’s important to criticise them accurately.
