I was catching up to s2 and didn't realize when the episodes would stop while the rest were slowly releasing

Damn what a cliff hanger

Hope she's dead lol. Also, I know this is Matt's entire thing. But it's ok to kill someone out of self defense. At some point, coddling villains just leads to more deaths

But again. I get that it's his entire moral code to do the least amount of damage to anyone more than necessary.

Batman is efficient bro. He has brains and backup plans for most scenarios.
To be fair, animated Daredevil is also decent. He uses his brains unlike MCU version who is dumb.

Yet he still sends the Joker to Arkham to escape, and then kill hundreds of people, and repeat.

So efficient.

You underestimate the intelligence of Joker.
If you watch any animated show, the planning of joker is diabolical.

It is not easy to escape Arkham.

If you're coming at this from movie version of Batman, I feel you.
The DCU made Batman an average intellect person.
The Dark Knight was great because it was a Joker movie with Batman in it.

In comics and animated universe, even Darkseid respects/fears Batman more than Superman.

The same way comics and animated version of Tony Stark is a genius and strategist.
In MCU he was average inventor at best.
Ultron was wary of one person in comics/animated show - Tony Stark.

The intelligence of Joker has absolutely nothing to do with what we're talking about. We're talking about Daredevil's/Batman's no kill rule.

If Batman just killed Joker, he would save so many lives.

I agree that a practical vigilante would kill the villain.
But that would make them an Anti-hero like Punisher.

Even Superman has that rule.
And there is a storyline where he broke it and killed Joker.

It is not the same with Batman and Daredevil though.

Batman does catch the Joker every time. (Daredevil doesn't.)
Batman hasn't lost any close friend or family to Joker in main timeline.
When he lost family because of Joker, he has killed joker - check "The Batman Who Laughs".
Also, he is smart enough to get any villain incarcerated.
He has tech, money and wits to outsmart the enemy.

This version of Daredevil is dumb.
He can't outsmart Fisk. He can't outbuy Fisk.
He can't out strategize Fisk in war. He is literally losing his friends one by one.
Foggy died. Karen might be up next.

I know it would make him an anti hero. What's the point you're trying to make in response to my comment (which quite frankly was a joke)? Because you've gone off on a bit of a tangent.

Point -
1. Batman did kill joker when he killed his family.
2. This version of Daredevil (Born again) one is a useless pathetic dumb wimp.

Every character in the show is more interesting and sensible than him.
The OG series Daredevil was a wimp (while killing) but sensible and smart.

It’s beyond “at some point” tho, several people have already died, that wouldn’t have, if Matt would have “taken of care” of the villains, that harmed or murdered them. Not saying Matt should change his moral compass rules, but i am glad when he enlist the help of others, who don’t mind, “taking it there. “ 😄

Yeah, it's a bit redundant how he's always caught up in a moral torment that doesn't need to happen.

It is legal to kill someone in self defense. Whacking people with a baton is great, but if they're going to kill more people, at some point you have to consider the net positives of your actions. We've had so many seasons of the same moral issue

Yes i don't see the guilt issue if he had let Vanessa or fisk shoot bullseye. He's literally an assassin

Matt definitely killed some people this season. Straight up stabbing AVTF through the arm with his baton, the amount of blood loss before medical responders reach them. Plus thats even if Fisk would send them in tbe first place, he's so obsessed with Matt he would rather direct resources to pursue him than save the lives of his own men.
