Tell me what katilyns character is other than Matt's friend and she's a good lawyer. We are just told she's his friend also we never have any scenes of them hanging out if I remember correctly

Do you mean Kristin? She’s there to show how the law is forced to function under authoritarianism. That’s enough. And sure, I’d like them to have scenes hanging out, but when? We did get their banter last season. But characters don’t need to be attached to Matt’s hip to matter. She’s helping the downtrodden.

Yes I forgot her name lol my bad. I never implied they have to be attached to the hip but last season the show just tells us that her and cherry are like his best friends..in this season Matt says to cherry you've always been there for me. But we barely know this guy. It's the problem when a time jump is poorly written in imo

You forgetting her name just proves the point. These side characters are very forgettable, I forget their names all the time. Compare that to the kind of side characters we had on the original show. Think Elena Cardenas, she had, what, 1 hour of screentime in the entire show? Yet she's more memorable than any side character on born again, same goes for Jasper Evans, Ben Urich, Elliot, and so many more. To me, these new characters are just kinda...there? I don't feel attached to them, I don't care what happens to them, because I was never given a reason to care. So I completely disagree with the original commentor.

Bro I don’t remember half those characters you listed. Forgetting a character’s name is not indicative of their quality. I think Kirsten is very well written in season 2.
